Very average
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kind of a strange movie. Not the way I would expect people of that era in Australia to act at all which makes it somewhat goofy. The only saving grace is the great performance Kate Winslet gives.

Outstanding

The whole cast is excellent.Shot In Australia 1951 era, young girl returns homes to get her revenge and see her mother. it,s funny and the characters are outstanding..kate winslet hugo weaving and judy davis all seserve applause for this movie.
