Duff is about the "ugly" girl with the popular friends. She is the approachable one who you can get the "scouting report" on her friends. The girl wants to be noticed by the "musical" kid and get tips on how to become more aggressive/talkative from her next door neighbor who happens to be the "hot QB" who needs help in chemistry. It is about being yourself. I would recommend the movie

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this movie, due to the hype comparing it to Mean Girls (one of the modern-dat cult-classic standards) when it first hit theaters. While it definitely isn't Mean Girls, it's a good, relatable, modern coming-of-age teen comedy. Definitely worth a watch.

The Duff is a snarky comedy about a girl who is thought of as the Ugly one in her circle. When the high school hottie points this out to the girl, she is determined to be the dateable one instead of the Duff. Her misadventures will keep you laughing and the jerkish hottie will steal your heart in this film.

The Duff was a pretty good high school movie. It's not quite on a par with Mean Girls, but it's not far off. I think if you liked Mean Girls you would like The Duff. And my kids all liked it.

A very funny movie with a nice romantic story behind it. Love the plot of the movie, also has a little twist here and there to keep you entertained.

Too much adult stuff for kids or teenagers. It had the potentional to be a good movie geared towards the young but it was all about adult stuff. I would not let my kids watch this.
