This game is truly neverending, there's a main story, and a lot of side quests to keep you busy. Nice graphics and a good story.

The original was already an achievement of the highest order of artistry. Roger Ebert, God rest your soul, but you can eat a big one. This game is equal parts beauty and magic. It sets the imagination on fire. More than any other work of art in the history of mankind it is simultaneously shaped by the one who experiences it. Absolute Mastery.

When I last played Skyrim a few years ago on xBox 360 I ended with over 500 hours invested into the game. It was the only video game that I had no regrets putting that much time into and it will now be the only game that I have no second guesses about doing it all over again with this xBox One remaster. I noticed the updated graphics and smoothness right from the start. With the remastered graphics, dynamic depth of field, screen-space reflections, and new water / snow shaders you get a totally fresh feel to it and you do not notice that it was a game that was written years ago. I feel that the story is in no need to review with all the awards and achievements the original game has received. You will have all the open-world RPG goodness that the original game had along with all the DLC (Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn) plus mods! Yes, mods! As of writing this, xBox One currently has 125 mods that are ready to use. Ranging from adding a few tables and chairs in different inns to allow extra seating, no health regeneration or even realistic carrying weight. There are plenty of mods that allow me to customize the game to my liking. I highly suggest the mod called "Slave Pack Riekling Porter [XboxOne]". This mod adds a little funny looking Riekling Porter who lives alone on his selfproclamed Wak Wak Island, a small rocky Island in front of RavenRock. You will also want to get "Relationship Dialogue Overhaul - RDO [XB1]". This amazing mod adds over 5,000 lines of completely voiced dialogue for NPCs. It mainly adds to friends, followers, spouses, and rivals. Every word is voiced using the original voices from the game. This is a must have for anyone playing this game. Skyrim Special Edition includes: - The critically acclaimed game - All official add-ons – Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn - Remastered art and effects - Volumetric god rays - Dynamic depth of field - Screen-space reflections - New water and snow shaders - Play PC mods on consoles. Now console gamers can experience new quests, environments, characters, dialogue, armor, weapons and more *My Favorite Mods* Alternate Start - Live Another Life [XB1] Adds a totally new feel to the game by changing the starting story. Misery and despair have haunted you all your life. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, you've been arrested and thrown in the dungeons. Your trial was supposed to be weeks ago, only nobody has come for you. It's been so long since seeing daylight you no longer know what month it is anymore. The dungeon is cold, damp, and worse still, you're running out of food. You will be given the opportunity to choose your race and then choose a new life for your character to lead. Relationship Dialogue Overhaul - RDO [XB1] Adds over 5,000 lines of completely voiced dialogue for NPCs for more than 50 voice types, focusing mainly on friends, followers, spouses, and rivals. All dialogue is voiced using the original voices from the game, achieved through re-adding existing dialogue in new and suitable places, as well as editing together multiple lines to form brand new dialogue. Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch [XB1] The goal of the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch (aka USSEP) is to eventually fix every bug with Skyrim Special Edition not officially resolved by the developers to the limits of the Creation Kit and community-developed tools, in one easy-to-install package. Features hundreds of gameplay, quest, NPC, object, item, text and placement bugs fixed. No unsafe changes (such as deletions of stock objects). Designed to be compatible with as many other mods as possible. Slave Pack Riekling Porter [XboxOne] This mod adds a little funny looking Riekling Porter who lives alone on his self proclamed Wak Wak Island, a small rocky Island in front of RavenRock. You have to do a favor for him in-order for him to join you. I won't spoil that for you.

I had this for PS3 and rebought for XBox One. Love it. Graphics are great, love the story and open world.. Currently I'm level 31 and haven't even started the main story line. With that being said, my complaint about the PS3 version was that after you beat the game there were no more random dragon encounters, I don't know if that was fixed in the newest version or if they changed that with an expansion pack but that is something I would look into before beating the game.. I have honestly held off on starting the main quest line so that I can get my other stuff done in the game before dragons start spawning everywhere. Oh and this is a super great deal since it includes all of the expansions!!

I waited a long time to get this, and was very excited to find out the game was getting remastered. The graphics are amazing considering how massive the open world map is. I'm sure there's a lot to process when the game's running, but it looks great. The one downside, somewhat major is many of the bugs from the previous version on XBOX 360 were never patched. But that's Bethesda for ya. Just maintain a healthy 20-50 game saves and rotate them so a game breaking bug doesn't set you back too far. This is a great RPG, the story involving the Dragons is interesting, and the story involving civil war through out the land is kind of comical since it doesn't really seem to matter too much who you favor. There are plenty of funny quests and character, all kinds of unique loot and strange encounters to be had. This game has some of the funniest random glitches since there's so many resources and variables to pull from. Would highly recommend to anyone that likes RPG/Fantasy games.

Having never played Skyrim upon it's release, the upgraded rereleases were a pleasant surprise to pull me into trying the series for the first time. It's a bit overwhelming with how much you can do in the game, but you will never get tired of it.

Skyrim is one of my all time favorite games. Played the junk out of the original on PS3 and Xbox 360. This remaster is beautiful and I'm happy to be in the world of Tamriel again. Kudos Bethesda for making an already great game even better. Great visuals, superb load times(with a Samsung pro SSD) and all the original dlcs packed in in one great price. The game still has its fair share of glitches but the fantastic world makes it worth adventuring again. Also the addition of mods is fun. Beware that any game saves with mods added will not award Achievements. Get this game

Everything is bigger, bolder, and better in Skyrim, be it dragons, giants, mammoths, breath taking panoramas, or simply shouting an unsuspecting NPC off a cliff. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was the game of the year in 2011, and it is still massively entertaining today, even with other notable games available (looking at you Witcher 3). The freedom this game allots one to be whoever one wants to, to fight the way one wishes to, is truly the reason I believe why people come back over and over again to this game after five years! One can be a blacksmith, a thief, a pickpocket, a juggernaut with two handed weapons, a master swordsman, a prudent warrior with a shield, a reckless dual weapon wielder, a mage, an assassin, a chef, ..... I really can keep going on. This game is, in one word, epic! Like every other Elder Scrolls game, Skyrim is, indeed, plagued with all sorts of glitches. Nothing like seeing wee bit Dorthy phantasm-ing through wooden walls of her home. Or boldly stabbing a Draugr Death Overlord multiple times with abandon cause he is rooted to the spot and cannot dish it back at you. Or watching a ten tonne mammoth soar vertically through the air like its ascending the heavens. Glitches. Lots of glitches. But these are minor annoyances, or delights, depends on your mood really, while playing this massive epic. You will be entertained with this, in my opinion, ultimate fantasy RPG to date. So get your copy and be whoever you want to be. Use 'shouts' to take down your enemies and dragons!!. Or shoot them down with a barrage of arrows. Or simply use fire, ice or lightning. Or use magic with your left and stab them with your right hand! You can and will do everything in Skyrim!

This is a great game. I had 100% Oblivion, original game and dlc, right before I jumped into it's sequel. I am enjoying this game much more because of the fact it doesn't force you to be one class. For those interested a fair warning about this series if you are interested in playing it be prepared that this game will eat a lot of your time. Doing mainly side quests I have spent 20 plus hours into this game and I have maybe done 5-10 quests in the main questline.

I played the original Skyrim when it came out on November 11, 2011, and put about 500 hours into it. I never got sick of it, and was extremely excited when Bethesda decided to release this upgraded version! I have always played on Xbox, and was pretty jealous when the original version was released for PC, and the mod pack for it because of the better graphics. But that jealousy has since left because I can do the same thing on Xbox One now.

This game has a lot of similarities to Fallout 4 when it comes to the controls, leveling and perks layout. This game is an instant classic. Skyrim will keep you busy for years, so much to do and explore. A definite must have for the roll playing enthusiasts out there. Get the special edition for $29.99 which comes with all three add-ons. What are you waiting for? Run, don’t walk to buy this jam-packed game for the ages.
