    When you think life is hard and that things couldn't be worse, I highly recommend you sit down and watch this film. One of the best movies ever made in my opinion, 'The Elephant Man' is simply an astonishing piece that is sure to reach your heart. Based on the true life story of19th century Englishman John Merrick, who was born with a rare bone disease. Presented beautifully here on this anamorphic widescreen dvd. Highest recommendation!

    This movie is really, really sad, but moving because its based on the life of a man who was truly mistreated because of his deformation, but he was just a normal human being, doing normal things, being very intelligent, but the world doesn't see that.
