The kids love this movie. And they watch it ALOT...

This movie was fun to watch with my 3 kids. There was clever humor throughout, and a bit of potty humor (not overboard like Captain Underpants). The animation in this movie is gorgeous but the story was kind of generic. The creative world-building reminded me of the first time I watched Monsters Inc. My kids age 4-7 REALLY liked this movie and they all wanted it for Christmas. The overall message this movie tries to give is that each of us are unique and important in the world for what we have to offer. Trying to fit in and go with the flow of everyone else is not always the best thing to do. It was a decent message.

This movie was the perfect distraction for a 24 hour road trip with a car full of tweens. It was humorous but not exactly an academy award winner.

I read mostly “meh” reviews about this movie and I almost didn’t buy it. My 6-year old boy is so into emojis that he asked to buy the movie. I rented it on Redbox twice using promo codes just to make sure he really wanted it. He liked it so I went ahead and bought it with no regrets. The movie itself is not as bad as most reviews had put it. There’s actually a decent storyline. The graphics was good. It was colorful. And with a sale price, there’s nothing negative to say.

Surprisingly good! I thought this movie looked ridiculous, to be honest, so imagine my surprise when it was actually pretty good! My kids love this movie, and I enjoyed it, too. This one was a surprise hit in my house.

This movie in 4K looks great. My boys really like this movie and it happened to be one of the first 4k movies I bought after purchasing a 4k TV and 4k blu ray player. Would highly recommend adding this movie to your collection. This package comes with 4k format, blu ray format and digital copy that can be viewed in ultra high def.
