This Album is exactly what it was told it would be. A tribute to the late Richard Wright, the main focus of the album being his keyboards. A mostly musical album with only one vocal track. Which in my opinion is the weakest track on the album. Also as they said it was material from the Division Bell that was worked over by Gilmour and Mason. If you are looking for a Roger Water's esque album you won't want this. Perhaps you can hear him whine about his father more on an upcoming album if he makes more. I would really have given it 4.5 Stars if it were an option, only because I personally would have like a bit more Gilmout guitar work, That being said, It is a wonderful album, and IT is what it said, it would be.

Doesn't that look like Rick Wright on the cover?

Hmm... Wright was a bit of a yachtsman and the image of his apparent rowing of a boat above the clouds is a nice memorial touch for this final showcase of his often overlooked contributions to Pink Floyd's sound, whether it was his keyboard work or subtle, yet harmonic vocals. While most of the instrumental pieces on this album are reminiscent of interludes from other Floyd albums, there is a freshness to them, as if they were being rearranged for a live performance. Comfortably Fun.

This is not going to go down in history as one of the best Pink Floyd recordings but it was never meant to be. So Pink Floyd fans should just be happy that there was a new cd released at all. Mr. Wrights keyboards are definitely featured and Mr. Gilmore shines as usual. Nicks drums play a limited role but when he does play its with great taste and style. Pink Floyd fans should buy this cd.

The Endless River is mostly an instrumental album recorded during the Division Bell sessions and afterwards before the death of keyboardist Rick Wright. It's good, but not in the same league as Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall. I wish they could have done one last album with Roger Waters. A good album to zone out to if you want to just relax.

Music is great but it is instrumental only. Not quite up to the level of their earlier releases but still nice to listen as it has been many year since we had a Pink Floyd release of any kind. If you have been a Pink Floyd fan then you will appreciate it. If you are not already a fan than start with some of their previous, classic albums.

I am a die-hard Pink Floyd fan, and this album does not disappoint. All of the tracks, except for one, are instrumental. The music sounds a lot like The Division Bell album, which is when the songs were written. Any Floyd fan will like this album.

This complete package, including the DVD) is an homage to Floyd's earlier times, having been previously recorded tracks that have been meticulously re-mastered to honor the past and complete the present and final days of the band

It's definitely Pink Floyd, but it really just sounds like instrumental intros/outros from songs throughout their career. The new song with vocals is really good though, worth a listen.

You can't lose with Pink Floyd. I read some snob saying one of the tunes was weak. I didn't write it down and I didn't see that ANY of them were weak.
