One of the Best action movies !!! action I will watch it many times

Denzel Washington usually does really good movies and this is a really decent movie. Works a normal job but he has a checkered past guessing was a government agent you don't really know in the first equalizer because they really don't dive into his past. Gets caught up a little turmoil from going to a diner talking to young lady who happens to be a lady of the night for the Russian mob. Long story short she gets beat up he takes a personal tries to get her out.

Denzel as a retired assassin drawn back to save others. This movie reminds me of Liam Neeson's classic "Taken" and Keanu Reeves insane "John Wick" movie series. Denzel is a one man wrecking crew and is almost impossible to take down without an army! Highly recommend this flick!! A+++

Denzel is classic in this the Original of the two Equalizer movies. I won't say the 2nd was better because its not, but they are actually both Great in their own way. Great story, Great acting, everything follows along with the story, it was just an Awesome Action movie...!

This was such a great find. A vigilante who sticks up for the little guy and doesn't have to put on the cape to make it worth his while. Denzel is always rock solid and believable in every role he's cast.

Good movie lots of action. However there is a lot of violent content, definitely not suitable for young audiences. The audio and visual reproduction in 4k is average.

One of many favorite Denzel Washington movies. I owned the digital version in 1080p and bought this 4K disc on Black Friday. I don't think the picture quality changed much if at all. But wanted the movie on disc so a good buy- especially for the price.

This is such a great update to the 80's TV show and Denzel brings a gravitas to an otherwise typical character. There's some really cool ideas in this series (like the stopwatch timing) and the action is pretty top notch. Check out the sequel as well!

I used to watch the television series with my mom and enjoyed it thoroughly. The movie was not exactly the same, but it has the spirit of the series and Denzel plays the role very well. I really enjoyed both this and the seuel very much.

Any movie with Denzel Washington is a great one, but I liked the premise of this one where someone who doesn't look like they can take care of themselves in a good fight comes out on the winning end every time! Go Denzel!

This is such a great movie! The quality is out of this world. Pair this with an Ultra HD 4K player and it is the best movie experience in the world! We watch this movie all the time and love it so much!!

Personally, even with all of his career accolades, this is my favorite Denzel movie. Great sound & picture quality & I love that it comes with a digital copy so that I can watch it wherever I go. (Vudu, MA, etc)

Super good flick! Action packed no doubt. This movie had feeling and showed a lesson in that there were consequences for every action we take in life.

Denzel Washington's portrayal of a quiet, aging special ops vet wastes no time providing solid story and eviscerating action. Continues to suspend disbelief throughout. Excellent franchise beginning.

Decades ago, I had watched The Equalizer series on TV, so I pretty much knew what the background would be, but Denzel makes his own mark in this non-stop action take, teaming up once again with his friend and director, Anton Fuqua. If you're looking for a fast paced film that you can really get into, this one may do it for you.

This film version of the popular 80's television series featuring Denzel Washington in the lead is well made and performed. The UHD disc really shines for this nice upgrade from the Bluray! A Must Own!
