This is a good action movie but it is prodicatble.

This movie will feel extremely familiar for those who've seen Man on Fire. While it's not as good as Man on Fire, it's still a decent good time. I wouldn't rank it up there as one of his best movies but it's ok and worth a view if you're bored.

Unrealistic action movie which succeeds at just that. If you are expecting a lot of action this is for you, if you want even a remote sense of realism and a good story it isn't. If you just want a good violent action movie this is a great choice.

His presence still demands and audience. But the content of the movie is to similar to training day. The only differnece is that we are left to assume to much about this particular character. But in the end its a movie still worth seeing on DVD.

It's a shame The Equalizer did not launch a franchise. It's a gutsy, visceral revenge flick in the vein of Death Wish or even John Wick. It's only major downside is the lame duck off brand Home Depot setting.

This movie was a mash up of "The Professional" (John Reno and Natalie Portman) and Training Day. I think that it the story could have been developed better. It was just a tad on the lack luster side for me.

I excepted a "Man on Fire" type movie. It wasn't quite that. It was an ok film but the story/characters and pacing is something more closely to what you would see in a TV movie.

Overall not a horrible movie, just make sure your purchase when on sale vs full price in case you get disappointed with how cheesy low quality this movie can be

Just wanted to give any other collectors a heads up.. this is listed as a “Steelbook”, but it is a MetalPak Edition. Learned the hard way when I ordered one.

Not the best Denzel Washington movie but still a good movie. I don't know if there is a bad Denzel movie. The ending reminds me of a Rated-R version of Home Alone.

I was disappointed by the lack of action in this movie. Storyline was decent and the only thing that saved it was the fact that it is Denzel Washington.

What more could you ask for? Denzel protecting the weak, kicking butt and taking names. I thought it was a satisfyingly action flick
