The Equalizer is very well written and acted film. I think any action movie lover would like it. The Best Buy exclusive packaging is truly beautiful in it's art style. A little bloody, but if your watching this movie it shouldn't bother you in the slightest. Great movie, great price.

Denzel gave a magnificent performance in this action packed movie. He never disappoints. The premise of working in a home improvement store was an innovative as well as fascinating storyline. The character development and loyalty throughout the film was riveting. I really enjoyed this movie!

This movie was really well written and well performed. The premise was someone with skills sticking up for the underdog. Denzel was up to his usual acting skill level in this movie. There was plenty of action, most of it quite realistic, and I was always held in by that "yeah get em" feeling

This isn't the best action-thriller ever made - not even close - but it's definitely a well-made, exciting movie.

Here you have Denzil Washington play the role of Equalizer which he trying to lead a normal life when he gets involved with a young Russian girl who gets beat up. When he try to negotiate her freedom, the bad guys just don't learn its a lot wiser to walk away then deal with upsetting him.

a truly great movie. I am upgrading my blu-ray to this 4k edition. One of Denzel's best action movies along with the second version of this movie as well. Amazing price as well for the XMAS holiday.

To be honest I haven't seen this movie before but I heard great things about it so I decided to buy it and when I got home and I watched it and it was worth it and it was a great movie I can't wait till the 2nd one comes out for the steelbook

I originally purchased the standard Blu-ray steelbook for The Equalizer but I honestly hated the artwork. Project Pop art is usually a direct hit or total miss. The 4K steelbook is so much better and I'm very glad to have added it to my collection.

Overall quality of the image is sharp and colorful with excellent black level exhibiting little to no visible compression artifacts. The nultichannel audio is serviceable, with surround channels adding and provides for encompassing effects

Been waiting for this movie for a very long time great picture quality in 4K steelbook no less A must have for any movie collector.

Denzel is awesome as Frank. The Equalizer is a fantastic series and I would love to see a third film but this is one way to forever hold this film in my collection.

This was one of the better movies of 2015 and I loved every minute of it when I saw it in the theater. Now it's on blu-ray and in steel-case? SOLD!! Love the move and love the packaging; the price was great too...gotta add this to anyone's movie collection for sure!

This movie is action packed from start to finish.will keep you on the edge of your seat you won’t even want to get something to drink so bring it ahead of time.Looking forward to watching part two.

Danzel is clearly a hero who truest to be someone he is not. Danzel attempts to live a life of mediocrity and reclusiveness but situations clearly arise that he cannot turn away from. In this movie, we all realize that the nature of our "BEING" is defined in every breath we take.

Denzel knocks it out of the park again kind of like he did in Man on Fire. This time he plays an ex-agent that has a similar skill set like Liam Neeson in the Taken franchise. Tons of quick and deadly action. And all for a good cause. If you like this genre, you'll love this flick.

Easily the best Denzel Washington movie to come around in quite a while. My expectations were low when I first rented it, but I enjoyed it so much it was on my short list of movies to buy. If you like action/revenge type movies this is one of the better ones imo. Recommended.

I loved this movie - it’s one of my new favorite action films, next to John Wick. I was surprised how brutal it was (do not let the kids watch) and how outlandish it would get. But that was not a bad thing and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Will be adding to this system, wish I would have found this before purchasing all the Bluetooth speakers, Love the ease of adding more rooms and being able to play different music in other rooms at the same time. I'm heading back to Best Buy today to add to this system. Love it !!!

As always Denzel Washington is a great actor and he took it out of the park with this one. The comments from the director are awesome too when you set the DVDs to play in the vengeance mode and the action is non stop when getting rid of the bad guys, without firing a single bullet!

Denzel, basically has OCD in this film. He has a routine before he whoops/kills butt. I enjoyed it a lot. It's a character study and the pacing is absolutely appropriate. It's not just action but and good story with great character development. I think it played out more like a suspenseful, psychological thriller rather than a action flick. Other than a gun he resorted to some resourceful tools for whooping/killing butt.It was unique to me.
