I love Denzel Washington as an actor, and he did not disappoint me in this movie. The pace of the movie was a little slow at first, but it picked up fairly quickly. It's a good action/fight scene movie, but not a lot of depth. They tried to give it some depth, but they just grazed the surface. It would've been better with a little more detail into the lives of the main characters. That being the only downfall, it was still a great movie!

This is definitely one of denzels best movie. It has action. Although it may be a taken clone, it still is a great movie. This movie made me wonder how great a movie duo denzel and liam neeson would make. This is a mjst own film and great for any blu ray collectors like myself.

I thought Denzel Washington was great! I thought the story line was fantastic! The cast of characters were very realistic, the drama throughout the movie had me wondering what's going to happen next; and the action scenes were surreal. This is a must buy for action moviegoers.

This is a great movie from a great actor. I always enjoy his movies because he is a great actor that isn't in it just for a paycheck. Watched this multiple times before going to see the sequel just because my wife and I like it so much.

Very good movie. I enjoy Denzel’s acting all the time. Five stars might be a bit higher than I would have selected, but Four stars is way too low. Equalizer 2 is even better than Equalizer.

I enjoy this kind of movies. Similar to Safe House character Frost. Just kick azz action. Yes I would recommend. Good extras on bluray. It comes with special way to watch the movie with the director and Denzel talking about parts of the movie while it's playing.

This is a fine performance by Denzel Washington. You're not quite sure who he is in the movie but you know he isn't someone to be messed with after you've crossed the line with him. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie for the 4th time! If you a fan of his you will enjoy this one!

This is a older movie that I had previously seen, but my wife had not and I was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife and I can watch it anytime we want.

Denzel is a one man show. Every calculated and lethal decision made leaves you wanting to see more of what this mastermind of an unknown background is capable of. In a fight against evil, Denzel does not stop until all injustice comes to a bloody end. Though creative, I would be ok with less gruesome, cringeworthy scenes and more twists in the plot. That being said, this is a solid performance by Denzel that I will watch again.

Denzel is very serious in this movie. He means business and he is not playing around. If you like the John Wick movies, you'll like this movie. Add it to your collection!

DenZell Washington played a great part. The movie had continous action that keeps you watching and waiting for the next exciting scene to occur. You also root for the good guy to stay alive and save all of the innocent people. Great and intense action. Fantastic movie.

Denzel Washington puts a fresh new spin on the t_v series the equalizer from the eighty's. Denzel never breaks a sweat all the while he gets his point across and gives them the option to do the right thing. Great action, a must see movie and a keeper for my collection.

The Equalizer is an action packed drama that leaves you feeling good about what Denzel does on the screen to the bad guys who just can't let things be. The movie is well-done and keeps you entertained through the whole film with some interspersed humor here and there.

Denzel is great as usual and he has a great supporting cast as well. I thought Chloe Moretz did a great job in her role as Teri. Great action scenes with good character development. The ending reminds me of Death Wish and sets up for a sequel. Definitely worth a look.

Denzel Washington is at his acting best in this high volume action film. The Equalizer. based on the television series of the same name , is played by Washington with amazing depth. While the film has non-stop suspense and action, gratuitous violence is at a minimum.

Action!! With lots of creativity to taking out bad guys!! Haven't seen the original TV series but watched the movie with people that have. They said it was a different take but they enjoyed the movie. Those particular friends are very hard to please as far as movies.

Denzel is a great fit for the character. I really like the flow of the movie and how the characters all came together. The action is great and acting it great. Get this and Equalizer 2. Great buys.

This film was under rated denzel played his role with terrific and spell binding action keeping you, from beginning to end, very intense and on the edge of your seat keeping you entirely interested on his every action and move a film to be recommended to purchase.

Denzel Washington can Act, nothing new there. But Chloe Grace Moretz plays a role we havn't seen from her before and I believe she has a bright future if she keeps it up. This movie grabs you from the start. Steel Book, always a plus
