If you like action films and Denzel Washington, there is definitely no way you can go wrong with this movie. And I certainly wasn't expecting it to end the way it did. It is not boring nor is it predictable. Definitely a worth it movie.

Fans of the tv show might be a little disappointed, as much of the movie is really setup to get McCall to the same place the tv show operated from, but it's still an entertaining action movie. the set pieces are excellent and Denzel is terrific. Would have liked a little more of a tie to the show, but seen as a prequel to the design of the show it fits.

this movie kicks so much butt. dw did it again!!!!!! its worth seeing it again, which is why it's part of my collection. this one and "Man on fire" is my favorite movies he's done since training day. hope there's a sequel with him in it.

Denzel as a scarred vigilante. Great entertaining movie. Good audio and visuals, packed in a nice steelbook.

The movie starts a little slow.. but not too slow.. it builds up to.. non stop action! Denzel is fabulous! He appears so calm, collected, mild mannered, and helpful.. but watch out if you happen to hurt someone he cares about! I love it!!

I really enjoyed Man on Fire and this movie reminded me of that. The bad guys are really bad and you feel like they deserve what is coming. Denzel still has it when playing a role like this that sets up perfectly for him. Good film.

If you are looking for a hero redeemed through a whole lot of violence thriller not many do it better than Denzel. This is another where he gives a lot more depth to a character that most actors would just follow the numbers for. Denzel shows off just how great an actor he is with films like this, and there is no one I would rather watch taking revenge on a group of gangsters.

Good story, Denzel Washington. Another movie I always stop on when channel surfing. Purchased DVD because all streaming services that had it wanted me to pay for it.

He is such a very good actor and this movie is well worth watching waiting to see the second one to see if that is as good or better and see if the story follows I wonder if there will be another

I love Denzel movies he's one of my fac actors. this is by far one of his best ones. the storyline is amazing. lol made me buy a stopwatch and be more OCD.

This movie was easily one of the best action movies of 2014!!! Very realistic & demonstrating military style martial arts tactics. Densel does a great job in this role. Im certain this will be one of my favorite films for years to come!

This movie was an unexpected surprise. It is about a quiet man who ends up helping a young girl who is "property" of a mobster. The movie has drama and comedy. It is a movie that gives the underdogs and regular guys boosts!

As my husband is a little older than me and more familiar with The Equalizer from back in the day, he was the one who purchased this movie. However, I really enjoyed it myself. It's probably one of my favorite Denzel Washington movies.

I like this design, it is simple but effective and I like the material they used to build the steel it doesn't show finger printing. I also love the movie and I hope the sequel gets a cool steel too!

I was a fan of the TV series so I anxiously waited for the story to be made a movie. I was not disappointed. The Equalizer has replaced "Man on Fire" as my favorite Denzel action movie. And Best Buy remains my single source for movies.

This is a great action adventure movie, where good triumphs over evil! Where someone stands up for the "little guy", after being provoked on several occasions. Denzel's acting ability shines brightly as he plays the underdog's hero!

I was surprised by how clean the movie played and how the steel book looked awesome. First time seeing this great movie and would recommend buying it in steel book if you prefer sturdy and reliable case.

I have always enjoyed most of Denzel Washington's movies, but this one may be my favorite. Starts a little slow as they set up the situation, but once the action starts, it is almost non-stop.

In this movie Denzel Washington plays a former special agent that is just trying to live a normal life. Without giving away too much, he is not successful in doing this. I would recommend this movie to any Denzel or action movie fan !

This genre of movie is one of my favorites. Very much like a Taken movie. I loved his character’s methods in revenge. I sat on the edge of my seat while we watched it. Definitely recommend it.
