It was a hardy attempt to remake an old TV show into a new movie franchise, and Denzel Washington does live up to the challenge. Though the movie has some rough writing, and some questionable plot devices, it's still a fun movie to watch and has actors who know what they're doing. So I would say this is a worthwhile watch.

This is a very good action movie and it has Denzel Washington in it so its got to be good. Although the action is over the top, but what action movie isn't these days, Denzel does make it worth watching.

Super duper performance by denzel Washington couldn't be better , any movie with him is a hit for sure. This actor comes so strong that you forget everything because now you're in the movie yourself like dammmmmn!

I love the premise of this film. The lead character (Denzel Washington) is the protector and defender of those who are constantly used and abused. Good cast and good ending.

After having seen this movie in the theater, I knew that it was one that I had to add to my library! Antoine Fuqua and Denzel Washington definitely stepped the television character up about 5 notches...at least!

Denzel Washington has done it again.. More action than ever before.. Denzel really played his character as he does in all his movies.. I see an Equalizer part 2 in the future. Keep up the excellent work Denzel!!

The Equalizer is a movie that guys would definitely love to watch. But I, as a female, also fully enjoyed this movie. An action filled movie and with Denzel Washington starring in it, you just can't go wrong!

This version stays true enough to the other versions to be recognizable. It has good action scenes and the story tracks well. It is a bit slow at times but not too much so to take you out of the movie. Fuqua (director) has consistently made quality films and this one follows suit. Violent but not too bloody, you should enjoy this film.

I have not seen a Denzel Washington movie that is bad. This movie is predictable, but its still great. Lots of action and drama. I will never see a hardware store the same ever again

Really great movie. Good action throughout. Steelbook artwork is neat. Only downside is disc inside was loose when I bought, but this seems to be the case with most steelbook.
