You won't regret purchasing this Groovy Collection!

I love this new set. Yes, I was aware that Army of Darkness isnt included. We will not be getting the 4k physical of that for some time as of this writing. Ill happily get whatever 4k steelbook is released of the film. I already own ED 1 & 2 on 4k. This set is more of a centerpiece of my display. Great artwork and everyone has been commenting how cool it is. Also, even thougj Ash vs Evil Dead can be watched via streaming platforms, the Blu Ray transfer of the series is gorgeous. The audio on the series really pops as well. This set comes with digital codes of both movies and the full series. Definitely a dope pickup for devout fans. Easily the most double dipped franchies in my collection.

Awesome movie collection! At the time of this review Best Buy did not have a description of the boxset, I have added images of the specs / details of what comes with. Great addition to add to any horror collection, please note, Army of Darkness does NOT come with this boxset. Boxset did come with digital codes for both movies and show that worked for me at time of purchase.

I love everything about this release… except one thing… the box it comes in is the same design as the Star Wars Skywalker Saga 4k collection. Not my favorite design and it doesn’t fit on the media shelf. Otherwise this contains both The Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2 - which the later seems more like a rough remake. The true gem here is the three seasons of Ash vs the Evil Dead which is so much fun. I’m sure that everyone knows that Army of Darkness does not come with this set.

Currently the best way to get both the original and part 2 of this movie on 4k. Ash vs Evil Dead is a nice bonus. I do wish they included standard size cases in the box there isn't a good way to store in a traditional BD storage shelf.

If you’re a fan of the evil dead series, look no further, this has it all! Each page has the movies along with a description and unique artwork. It is missing army of darkness but i don’t mind it as I have that steelbook. This is the ultimate collectors item. I highly recommend !

This was an awesome addition to my collection. The packaging is top tier, and the quality is great.

Ok, not going to knock this for not in including Army of Darkness... I think the effort was not made to negotiate for it like other companies have done for other franchises (Scream Factory pulked it off for Halloween and Friday the 13th) which is disappointing but I wasn't there. Also, where is the remake? This effort seems a little hollow since it is really close to being an ultimate collection vut not... so they kind of settled for a rehash boxed set that is fat on packaging and low on new value and completeness. All that aside, its a beautiful boxed set, you either like the art or you don't- I do. Others have shared they felt like it should have used more of the actual movie shots instead. I think that would work too but I actually bought this for the art... I already had all these disks. (I will be selling them now) Lastly, I like the book format but don't like putting disks into the cardboard book slots so not really happy about that part. In short, there us some style over substance and missing AoD and the remake is not great byt its still a good looking boxed set abd happy I added it to my collection. I went in knowing all of these things. Hopefully sharing here will hekp you maje a reasoned decision as well.
