When I first play EV1 a couple of years ago, I had a hard time enjoying it. I stuck it out and loved the game, played through it for the unlocks/upgrades on at least 2 playthroughs and played all of the extra story dlc. Ended up loving the game. EV2 is great so far and in my opinion and improvement over the 1st game. Once you hit Chapter 3, the game really opens up with upgrades, exploration and so on. If you enjoyed older RE games back in the day and Silent Hill 2, I'd recommend EV1 and definitely EV2.

20 hours into this game and It keeps calling me back. This game is hard and by saying that I mean it's hard in every way. It's hard to put the controller down, It's hard to keep your character alive. It's hard to not waste all your ammo, It's hard to keep still in your seat. This game raised the bar on Horror genre games and I'll have to say this is way better than the original but it's also a lot harder to to complete. Challenge make this game fun, but a bit frustrating and I wouldn't recommend this game for children. It's full of gore and language but most horror flicks are. This game is worth a play through if you can make it through.

I never finished EW1, despite looking forward to it and enjoying my run. I just couldn't get over the 'everything in the pot' approach and 'cheap deaths' that happened more than what i would like. With EW2, while the 'mood' may be different than the first, I think the overall cohesion strongly benefits in making EW2 a better game. Absolutely loved it, and enjoying multiple playthroughs!

Picks up where the first left off. Still some wonky controls but the crazy story makes up for it and pushes you through. Must by for survival horror fans

The Evil Within 2 gives us an improved gameplay, graphics, story and more scares than the first

This is the best game, it’s every scary and interactive so not only are you on the edge of your seat but it makes you want to play more, and explore. It’s also perfect for playing it multiple times and never getting bored

Survival Horror is on the rise, and it can be done well, and it can just be a bunch of loud jumps that make you gasp or scream. The ones that work, and the ones that end up in your dreams. The ones that stick with you. This is one of them. First one was great, this one is amazing. And if you are a 4K HDR guy with the Scorpio (I still call it that - although I did snag the Scorpio edition), the visuals are just amazingly crisp. If I wanted to sit a foot away from my 55" Sony, I could! Sweet dreams....

The original Evil Within was awesome and this furthers that. I have both PS4 and Xbox One X, so whenever there's an option at the same price point, I opt for the Xbox version, as it's usually enhanced or at least runs better on that system. Plus, I love the Xbox controller and only tolerate the PS4 controller. Anyone who enjoys adventure horror games, will appreciate Evil Within II.

I really like the first game and really love the second one. Good story and plays like the resident evil series.

A great game overall graphics, gameplay and action!

I must say I was skeptical since I played the first one. But, I was pleasantly surprised with the graphical upgrade and the darker narrative of this game. It is a improvement that is done so well that makes the first version inferior. I suggest skipping on the first one and play this one.

This game is a great follow up to the original. The graphics are a nice step up and the gameplay has been fleshed out a little. Overall it is very refheshing to see the horror genre built out with new games. There are some small quirks, but overall the package is good and worth the money.

This isn't the kind of game that you can run and gun your way through. You gotta conserve every bullet, you gotta make sure you don't get hit, and you gotta know when to run away. It's not about killing everything in your sight, it's about barely making it out of an area in one piece. It's tough and scary, but very rewarding in the end.

I'm usually not into games like this but this one I really enjoy keeps you on the edge of your seat just heard of the game but I've already had a couple jump out of my seat moments if you like action packed scary games you'll definitely like this game.

The first one was great so I knew I had to give this one a try. This one is almost as good as the first and a must play for any gamer. I played through 3 times and still wanted to play again but there are just too many games out right now.

This Evil Within is much better than the first one. Everything that felt weird, out of place, or clunky in the first has been improved for this one. Its kind of hard to explain but if you're playing this from the first you will understand
