The expanse is pretty good considering its produced by the SyFy channel which has been producing nothing but bad tv show after bad tv show year after year. The expanse offers a glimpse into how humanity might turn out 400 years into the future.

Great effects, great story, just wow! Created by a writer from Star Trek TNG this series is scifi as it should be, but with a bit more conflict. The effects and sets draw you in and help feel like the world is so much more real that just any show. Well done syfyi channel, returning to your roots!

I really enjoyed this series and am looking forward to the second season. I'd classify it as Hard Sci Fi, meaning it tries to be scientifically accurate and have realistic technical detail to what human colonization of our solar system might be like. I definitely recommend this show.

An interesting program with a lot of scientific thought behind it. It starts out going one direction and then turns a corner. The drama builds until you can't wait to see the next episode. It theoretically presents a possible glimpse into our future in space......refreshing!

Does a good job of capturing the dark underbelly of a not-so-distant future where different power blocks, each with their own advantages and vulnerabilities, are vying to assert their agendas into a system with restricted resources. Enjoyable, if somewhat shady, characters and shifting political intrigue are the main draw. Space combat, while present, is sometimes not as satisfying as it could have been.

I have not read the book but like the story as seen on TV. One of the Sci-fi channels better programs since the duds last year. The graphics and sets are first rate and pop on blu ray. The story has some "meat" to follow. When you tire of super heroes this is good stuff.

If you haven't seen the expanse you need to. This show wasn't even on my radar and we picked it up on a whim. Great scifi setting. People have colonized Mars and the Asteroud belt and after several generations resource and autonomy politics are building towards a war.

I bought this after reading a few reviews and watching trailers on YouTube. I loved Battlestar Galactica the new version. The Expanse feels like a cross between Battlestar and Total Recall. If your on the fence I would give it a shot. You won't be disappointed.

If you are looking for a compelling SCI-FI drama look no further. This has everything you could want, top notch graphic, political intrigue space fights, close quarter fights. Talking combat everything. If you are a SCI-FI fan then this is a must have.

Not seeing any of this series during the year I found this to be quite pleasant and worth the money. I will buy the second season too when it comes out.

First season of this sci-fi series was great and the audio and video are great too, the extras are lacking since there are only a few deleted scenes for the first episode and that's it, the slipcover of the blu-ray is really beautiful and let's wait next year for the second season.

Based on Internet Reviews, I expected I'd enjoy this series. And I did, and I watched it in one shot, as it was that enjoyable Pretty much my idea of a lazy day, one day binge watch, when I need a little physical down time.

This series really surprised me with the depth of story as well as the effects were top notch! Excellent cast & can't wait for season 2. My only bummer was the lack of extras for the Blu-ray. It could've used some cast & crew interviews at least.

At first I didn't know if I would like it but the more that I watched I enjoyed each episode and the characters. I enjoy science fiction shows that is action packed with a good story line.

I'd read the book and seen one or two episodes on TV. The show is similar to the book and i enjoyed the sci-if noir feel. I was surprised at how long it took to find in the store.

The Expanse is what TV science-fiction can be! Deeper than the simplicity of Star Wars & Star Trek, with compelling characters and a storyline with 'wheels within wheels.'

This is really a great show! The plot, you just don't know what's going to happen, the story is well done, the effects are great, and the people in this show are great too!

It's nice to see the SyFy network trying the make more shows that they were originally know for. This show is one of the best that have come from that network in years.

If you like smart sci-fi shows. This is one to watch. Great action. Realistic in it's depiction of living and working in space. Complex characters and storylines.

Great new series from syfy (I still hate that spelling). A surprisingly faithful adaptation from the original sourceaterial. Great story and effects, good cast.
