One of the best shows on television. Great story, great characters and acting, and no expenses spared on special effects. The long duration of a television season really allows the novels to come to life vividly. The blu rays are a dramatic improvement both visually and sonically over the “hd” streaming experience!

The Best season yet. IMO the best sci-fi TV show since the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica. Too bad it's the last season on the Sci-FI channel. Bought by Amazon so it's not exactly the end...

I've loved this show ever since it began. Great blend of sci-fi and hard science, like Babylon 5 back in the day. I'm going to miss it when it moves to Amazon, but that's what these collections are for. My only gripe -- why no digital copy for this season? They had it for the other two...

The Struggle for control and the fight for freedom is never ending. Outer Space is no different. Earth , Mars and the Belters. Fight for and Fear the Protomolecule. Who are the" Good Guys" ? Justifications for Retaliations.Peace-- is it Possible ? The Answer is at the End of the Beginning.

Season 3 is the best yet. Can't wait for season 4. Yes, there is a season 4 and it is airing now on Amazon Prime. Hopefully it will come to Blu-ray also, later in the year. Buying the Blu-ray version is well worth the investment.

Yes, it takes awhile to follow what's happening in the first season but once you get to know who is who it all makes sense. The writing is way above most things on TV and the quality of the picture is amazing on blu ray. A must see for all syfy geeks!

This is still one of the best sci-fi shows currently on the air. It's a linear story, not episodic so it needs to be viewed in sequential order to fully enjoy and understand.

The most engaging sci-fi shows in years, I really couldn't wait for this season because a lot of interesting things are going on. Well worth the money to buy this show if you do enjoy it and enjoy the other the other seasons

The third season of this great science fiction tv show. Excellent acting and superb special effects and action. You won't regret watching this show nor this season.

If you read the books and love true science fiction this is a fantastic series. I was happy amazon picked it up when syfy canceled it. It gets better and better with each season.

No glitz or flash or chrome-plated ships or 'Droids here. Solid drama and fine acting make this worth watching and having

The Expanse is a great sci-fi show and thankfully Universal is still releasing it on Blu-ray (unlike other networks who abandon it for DVD). If you are a fan, you will probably have this already. If you aren't, check it out and you might become a fan!

Plays as DVDs should, no issues. I bought all of the seasons I could find and I can't wait to watch!

I's give this 4.5 actually. I didn't like this season as much as the first two, but only by a small factor. This idea may be running out of steam... not sure if there is even going to be a Season 4. Too bad though, they should just regroup and give it a go as the theme/topic/local are ripe for more development.

This has been one of the best Sci-fi series since Battlestar Galactica.....Glad to hear Amazon Prime picked up The Expanse for Season 4.....

Great screen writing. The show keeps your attention. Seasons end left so many ways the show will go. I look forward to the next season.

A good friend of mine got me into this series. I’m so happy amazon picked it up after it got canceled. Looking forward to season 4.
