Full action movie, enjoyable nice to watch with PopCorn just like in the movie theater

Barney and his mercenaries go up against one of their own. The Expendables suffer a casualty during a mission in the opening. Even worse was the fact that it was caused by one of the founding members of The Expendables played devilishly by Mel Gibson. Not wanting to put any of the current assemble at further risk. Barney decides to recruit mostly younger members to take down the former member. Aside from the returning cast the line-up also included veteran action heroes, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Antonio Banderas, and making his return to the cinema after his stint in prison, Wesley Snipes . The young cast consists of mostly newcomers with the only exception being the first female Expendable played by Rhonda Rousey. Any fan of classic action films and the series will definitely appreciate and enjoy this movie.

Expendables 3 is a great movie that should be on everyone’s list.

Although I have thoroughly enjoyed Sylvester Stallone's EXPENDABLES film series, I thought the move away from an R-rated format to the PG-13 rating format to be a mistake. One would assume that these films are made to not only showcase the stars of past action film series, but some of today's hottest new action stars, but part of the appeal for fans is over-the-top action, violence, and yes, sometimes gore. Stallone himself has admitted in so many words that going for the safer PG-13 rating was a mistake, and that should an EXP4 be in the cards, he would return to the R rating. Regardless, THE EXPENDABLES 3 was an enjoyable action romp for me, especially with the addition of a meatier role for Schwarzenegger, and the introduction of Antonio Banderas' manic mercenary, "Galgo"... he made the movie for me. What's next Sly?!

Very Good Movie To Watch Lots Of Old Actors in the Movie

This movie in 4K really enhances the experience!!!

Another great combination of action and humor with some of the best action stars in the business. I like the “New Blood” added to E3. They each have their strengths and each adds contrast to the veteran cast. Are they meant to replace the aging cast? Time will tell. It is easy to tell that a fun time was had by all: cast and crew, and especially the Director, and that remains true to this franchise. I thought it was a lot of fun too. It's not a movie you'll remember vividly the next day, nor is it going to leave you wondering why loose ends haven't been cleaned up. When the movie is over, the only thing it leaves room for is Expendables IV.

Expendables 3 was a gamble and a lot of people didn't like it. Blood squibs were replaced with dust and language was kept to a minimum. That said most of the dialogue was more carefully thought out and less ridiculous than the second. Less cliches and out of place one liners to throwback to the films we know them from and more situational slapstick. Mel Gibson plays a pretty decent antagonist although when it comes down to combat he simply cannot compare with Steve Austin or the duo of Statham and Adkins in the second. Still a fun movie despite some absolutely cringe worthy pieces from the new crew. Snipes and Banderas absolutely steal the show.

Already having the first two "offerings", and seeing the huge cast of so many of my favorite "Action" stars, from past, I could not pass up one more opportunity to see these guys - Stallone, alone, having more wrinkles in his face than the rest combined - combine forces, and pick up a few "newcomers" along the way, and once again in seemingly non-stop explosive scenes, "bring down" - literally - the house (Casino) on top of this offering's resident "bad guy" - Mel Gibson. It was not over-the-top, like the storyline - and actions - of "Rambo" (in, hopefully the last in that series - the cow is dry); it was quite entertaining; just more believable and good to see the "good guys" triumph over evil - again!

When you buy the Blu-Ray combo pack of this movie, don't throw away the Digital Copy voucher because there are 2 separate Digital Copy+DigitalHD codes on that voucher. One is for the PG-13 version of the HD and SD iTunes Digital Copy and PG-13 version of the DigitalHD UltraViolet version of this movie and one is for the Unrated Extended Cut version of the HD and SD iTunes Digital Copy and Unrated version of the DigitalHD UltraViolet version of this movie. This is a great final chapter to the Expendables saga for being "watered down" and most of the original cast is back including acting legend Schwarzenegger, so if you like action movies you will like seeing both the PG-13 version and the Unrated version of this movie.
