This is a movie about a life-sized wooden doll that preys on people's fear in order to kill them. The music is original and very spooky. Especially the piece I consider to be Morty's theme. This is one movie you do not want to watch alone in the dark. Now, Morty may be a vicious doll, but he is not the only bad guy in the film. The movie is crawling with creepy predators. Keep an eye out for surprise revelations. Okay - maybe they're predictable revelations, but they're the ones you're hoping for. But there's a lot of surprises in the film, so maybe you won't guess them all. The nudity is edited in the DVD release, which takes away some of the creepiness of the scene. The unbelievably choppy edits interrupts the realism of the film. The extras are slightly disappointing. Yes - there's movie factoids, but they're incredibly dull. However, this is still a very entertaining horror movie even if there's no gore. I noticed it is rated 'R' for Adult Humor. If there was a joke in this movie, I didn't get it...
