Great movie. Cool Package. Older Version
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disappointed that this contained the original Blu-Ray instead of the remastered version. Like the case, but would have preferred the better disc. Should have looked more closely at the description.

Bizarre, at best
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tasked with saving the earth from a cosmic superattack that is almost guaranteed to destroy it, a cab driver and his passenger must recover four mysterious stones and a sarphocagus that contains a "fifth element," recreated by the earthly government that can prevent it. Maybe because Im not a sci-fi person for the most part, the whole concept seemed disjointed and to not make sense. The remastered 4K quality is excellent, but the movie is bizarre, at gest.

I Don't See What The Big Deal Is
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maybe I saw this movie too late, but I felt as if this movie was a product of it's time. I really don't see the big deal about it. It's an okay Sci Fi movie, but not nearly as good as Blade Runner or others. The main characters were great, but others felt like they were chewing scenery. The aliens weren't exactly memorable and Chris Tucker almost made me turn the movie off. Overall, I'd say I might have enjoyed it when it first came out, but it doesn't hold up very well now.

NOPE !
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know there are tons of great reviews for this movie and I purchased it in 4k because of that but I have tried to watch this four different times and just can't see why it's so popular. The 4k quality is so so and I just don't like the movie at all.I would not buy this again.

Worse with every viewing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I saw this movie at the original theatrical run, I left disappointed and didn't understand the hype around it. I bought it for only $5 during a Christmas special and even at that price I can't recommended. Silly story, terrible performances (except Willis) and very dated special effects.

Great Blu-Ray Transfer, But ...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because of the promise of UltraViolet, but the online system rejected my code. I contacted Vudu about my problem and sent a pic of the credential as requested, but they would not activate the product. It took almost 3 months for them to respond with two messages.

re-issue
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the better-looking pop-art steelbooks out there, but the disc is the same old transfer from long ago, not the newer 4K scan.

Odd and Hard to Follow
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found 'the Fifth Element' to be an extremely odd movie that's incredibly hard to follow, let alone get interested in. This visually beautiful production has some nice special effects, but the plot of the film just isn't up to standard. Plenty of bonus material for fans on this ultimate edition.
