The Fifth Element is an entertaining action sci-fi adventure directed by Luc Besson and starring Bruce Willis. For a movie made in the 90's the visual effects are impressive. The cast is equally impressive, with Willis in his prime. Milla Jovovich is great in the title role. Gary Oldman is always a good villain and he does a good job once again in this one. Chris Tucker shows up later in the movie and is funny if not a bit over the top... This movie won't be for all tastes. It is loaded with comedy and some people probably won't connect with the humor-particularly Chris Tucker's character. But if you're a fan of the stars and Besson's directing style you'll enjoy this one... The 4K quality of this movie is great. There are plenty of visuals to show off the format. It is a bit grainy at times. The movie is over 20 years old and the picture won't compare as well with newer movies, but overall it's a great looking and sounding movie...A-

As I'm reading the reviews for this product I keep seeing reviews about the film itself. This is not a movie review this is a product review. I thought that the construction of the case was innovating but not well tested. Great idea to have the latest in sound technology but there's a book inside that can't really be enjoyed. Because, when you open the the plexiglass case the binding tears. Oh well nice try. Better luck next time. By the way this movie is a CLASSIC!

Shot on 35mm with a 4K DI and Dolby Atmos sound. Movie was shot on film so you can expect a little grain but nothing too intrusive. HDR is a little muted and not as bright but does a good job on black levels. Sound is good and near reference quality. All in all, Sony does a pretty good job on their transfers and is worth seeing especially if you're a fan and it's the best it's ever looked.

This is a wonderful example of the sci fi genre that greatly benefits from 4k resolution and high dynamic range. Not to mention the steelbook which is an artful depiction of one of the movies coolest scenes. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for the best possible way to watch this movie.

A childhood favorite of mine. This movie is nonsense sci-fi cheese, complete with corny dialogue, ludicrous action scenes and very little semblance of seriousness. But it all works, it's a fun time despite the age and obvious budget constraints.

The picture was great but the sound dropped in and out in the dialogues

Gotta love Bruce Willis. Great movie. This movie never gets old.

already good on blu-ray yet really shines on 4k and with improved audio surround. Bruce is the only actor who can portray the lead - good casting call. ( see Die Hard movies for similar charactor nuances ).

I bought this movie years ago on super bit which was VHS so never seen it on blue but this 4k is awsome so clear you can see the poor's of there skin .sound is awsome and very bright

If you want a fun sci-fi movie, and are prepared to overlook some kitchy moments, or you even look forward to them, this is a great movie for you. The steelcase is also very nice.

Nothing much I can say that hasn't already been said, but if you haven't seen it, you must. It's campy and ridiculous in the best of ways.

The steelbook packaging looks really great. It is functional and looks like it will last. My husband was very pleased with this present.

The movie is a fun classic. But the real selling point is the case. It's solid and quite detailed. One of my favorite steelbooks.

One of my faves in 4k hdr? Yes please! Sound, and picture quality is excellent. A must-have for any serious movie collector.

This is a classic Sci-fi movie from the 90s. I jumped at the chance to get it in the collectible steelbook packaging!

This is a fun film which probably doesn't make a lot of sense. The 4k really brings out the colors and details.
