This movie would have been an awesome horror comedy with heart but instead it dwells too much in the drama and not enough with the horror/comedy. Final Girls is an enjoyable but ultimately frustrating movie. It's worth the watch to try to see what could have been.

I was originally drawn to this movie by Thomas Middleditch's appearances on the Comedy Bang Bang podcast, as well as Pistol Shrimp Angela "Swaggy Trim" Trimbur, but boy, I'm glad I bought it! If you have any love for 1980s slasher horror, you'll love this.

a great new idea have a person enter a horror film with a few of her friends to see her mother who was killed in a car accident alive again, picture quality is great and so is the sound this was probably a straight to video release but well worth a watch

This movie is a good time for anybody who is a fan of the Horror Comedy genre, in which it can be difficult to find quality titles. If you're a fan of films like Shaun of the Dead, Cabin in the Woods, and What We Do in the Shadows, check this one out as well.

This is a real gem of a movie. It's got style, chemistry and heart. It's really a funny tribute to the iconic horror movies of the 80's and 90's. I'd recommend it to horror fans (but wouldn't say it's scary) and to those who just appreciate unique storytelling.

this is great (almost parody) take on the horror film genre. chockful of violence/gore and jokes. no nudity though. very entertained from beginning to end. this is going to be a cult hit. my friends love this film after showing it to them. looking forward to a possible sequel.

Solid enough flick, as long as you know what you are getting into. The '80s characters are fun throwbacks. Some of the sequences could have used better pacing (the final showdown stands out the most to me), but the comedy to horror balance was pretty decent for the most part. Video quality is about what you'd expect, with the outdoor scenes during the day at the camp faring the best. Audio is top notch, but the bonus features are a mixed bag; the commentaries could have used proper moderation to keep them more focused, and the deleted / extended scenes have little value to offer. The f/x features don't offer anything of particular value either, but it's nice to see such a robust special features package nonetheless.

Well written and some great no name actors. When I saw the trailer I was really hoping I wouldn't be dissapointed and this one delivered. There were some moments that seemed over the top, but after listening to the commentary, that was their intention. Great movie.

It originally peaked my interest because I love Nina Dobrev from Vampire Diaries, but once I saw the trailer, I was hooked. The movie stay true to the expected horror plot, but with the twist of comedy, the film becomes that much better. Great casting all around.

First off I will address the elephant in the room, YES this is PG-13 but it doesn't make it a bad movie. I grew up watching the horror films of the 80's and this is a love letter to them. It's a great horror comedy film and it's well worth giving a shot,

It's more of a comedy than a horror film, which is good because it's more funny than scary. I don't think the director has even SEEN a horror film, but the cast and the jokes make up for it. It also winds up being surprisingly touching.

After a deluge of bad horror spoofs, The Final Girls is a great one. It doesn't just spoof 80s Slasher flicks. It's a movie about kids who get trapped in one and know it. They know the rules. Will they survive? Hilarious and totally re-watchable.

This film is a nice homage to slashers of the 80s, with some great humor thrown in. It's not a life changing film, but it's definitely worthy of multiple viewings.

This was surprisingly better than expected. If you enjoy some of the cheesy slasher films of the 80's to early 90's, this is comedy/horror is definitely a good way to spend a Friday night with some friends and big bowl of popcorn!

I was actually looking to add to my collection and came across this movie. It had a couple of actors that I knew and seeing how I am a sucker for horror movies combined with the low price for the bluray I was sold

It may lack gore and have some imperfections, but this movie was clearly made by somebody who loves the genre. I haven't had this much fun watching a horror flick since Cabin in the Woods; definitely an instant classic for me

A really fun take on the 80s slasher genre (and more recent "midnight madness" craze), with some heart to boot. Taissa Farmiga gets to show some excellent emotional range in what is otherwise a very silly film.

Perfect blind of comedy and old school horror turned on its head. The cast is perfect I'm a huge fan of them all so it hightened the experience. The bonus features were very neat and blooper real was gut busting.

I got this movie off of a recommendation from my brother. It was good but not excellent. It some chuckles and jumps here and there. You could get by without it, but if you are bored, check it out.
