Fun comedy for the whole family. I've enjoyed this movie ever since I saw it in the theater when I was just a kid, and I enjoy just as much if not more now that I'm an adult. John Goodman and Rick Moranis are great in their roles as Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble.

Not a great movie, but a fun movie for the family. A good cast and fun subject(live action cartoon).

Using real life actors to fill the roles of the characters out of one of my childhood cartoon favorites had me concerned, until I saw it when it was released in theaters many years ago. What usually happens, past memories rarely live up to expectations, but I was pleased with the outcome. It's story may seem a bit corny, but that was how the original cartoon's progressed. Would rate it a 4.5.

We were trying to get our kids into flu stones like we were as kids so picked this up really cheap to see how it went over. They loved it. Some of the acting and script isn't necessarily top notch but it is a good enough and enjoyable adaptation of a classic cartoon. They want to watch this over and over now

Watching this movie earlier today brought back memories of seeing it in the theater when it first came out. I loved how the movie was similar to the cartoon: the set design, the dinosaur powered gadgets, the cars, etc. I think I enjoyed it as much as the first time I watched it. Yabba Dabba Doo!!!

Watched the cartoon everyday after school when I was a kid so was excited to see a live action movie with the perfect Fred Flinstone, John Goodman though all the casting is spot on and the animal helpers have their time for jokes. Such a fun movie to take you back to a simpler time.

If you grew up watching the Flintstones, then you will appreciate the detail they put into this movie. I got it for my 10 year old daughter and she enjoyed it as well.

Well worth the money. My son-n-law and grandson enjoyed this DVD very much. Very entertaining and brought back memories as a child watching the original cartoon. :) Free shipping was a Bonus! Alexandra Drucker

I HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED THE FLINTSTONES AND ENJOYED THE LIVE VERSION, IT WAS VERY ENTERTAINING, WE WILL ENJOY WATCHING IT AGAIN

Awesome movie ! Loved John Goodman as Fred. Suited him perfectly. On a personal level, I would have had Rosanne Barr play Wilma's mother instead of Elizabeth Taylor.

This movie on Blu Ray was a delight to watch. Although this is not a new movie, it was great to see the actors portray the animated cartoon characters in real life. The story, even though predictable was still a delight to watch.

A lot of remakes are not very good,but this one was actually done well. John Goodman is a perfect Fred and Moranis was a very good Barney.

Always love this movie. A classic and a must see for fans of the cartoon

I LOST THIS MOVIE ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS IN A RECENT MOVE. I STILL GET A KICK OUT OF WATCHING FRED AND WILMA!!

Great movie. It shows the flint stones as their best selves. It is similar to the series it cane from. Kinda cool to watch. :)

Fun family movie, bought for a family car trip to use in portable dvd player

If you love the cartoon series The Flintstones, you really will like this live-action adaptation based on the popular animated series. It's really funny. John Goodman is perfect as Fred Flintstone. 5 stars.

My boyfriend loves it, I thought it was just ok. His 5 star rating and my 3 star rating make it 4 stars on average. Give it a shot.

I am so glad they came out with a blue ray version of this movie brought back childhood memories for me. My kids saw the second movie before this one but they love this one just as much!
