The following 3rd and final season is really good. With all kinds of twists and turns. Kevin Bacon stars as a former FBI agent who is now trapped in a web dangerous circumstances whe not only is hunting one serial killer but a following of many. But with the help of his neice, his partner, and the FBI they go on a man hunt to stop this group, while at the same time all of them fighting their own demons. And with the help of someone who Bacon's character once hunted and captured. The series as a whole is great. With pretty cool plot twist that will keep you coming back for more. This is a very dark gritty show that is not for the week at heart. 20th century Fox only made 3 seasons of this show with a series finally that will make you... well you will just have to see for yourself. It is not the greatest show ever as the second season is (to me) the hardest to watch as it blurs the lines between TVPG and TVMA. It does liten up in the final season, but still the tention keeps you gripped to you seat and eyes glued to the screen. The performances all around is very solid on this show from main cast to guest stars. And the overall plot of the series runs so deep I can't write it becase it would take WAY to long. The only downsides to this show is 1) some of the subject matter can get very dark at times. Even to the point of a sensitive nature. 2) make no mistake about it their is alot of deaths in this show. Other than the main cast just about everyone including smaller roll guests are killed in some brutal way. Even the most innocent gets offed in this show it gets kinda depressing after a while. 3) this is not so much a nagative as it is distributing. This show if watched by anyone who has mental health or psychopathic or other dangerous mental issues this show is so well written character dialog wise that it might leave people thinking about or interpreting the things they say as "real". It is small but can be impacted full. So that is just a few things to keep in mind. But all-in-all still a vrey good show worth watching.

In this the final season of the following Kevin Bacon plays a man driven over the edge - literally - he has chased mad Men until he has to become one in order to find the people responsible for funding a killer. This show kept getting better and better, the cast does a remarkable job and the blu ray gives an inside look at how one person can go from one side to the other. Bacon give his usual high strung, but believable performance.

I love the series but the end of it is here, the season was good but lack some passion like in the first season. Besides i am sad to know this oneis the last and leaving a lot on the table and unfinished business.

Kevin Bacon is awesome in this dark, twisted, graphic tale of a detective haunted by the past & now present serial killer that has built a following. It's a shame it only lasted a few years cause it was a great show, & left you on the edge of your seat.

I do miss Purefoy as the arch-villain, but the show continues to impress even without him. Suspenseful and well-acted, it's a shame the show couldn't last longer than three seasons.

The series , the Following is a great suspense thriller. Kevin Bacon is awesome as a actor and is great in this series. I hope the series continues and if so I will purchase any new season DVD,s from Best Buy.

I enjoyed season 3 and wish there more seasons. I missed the Joe Carroll focus in season 3 but overall it was a great season. The entire series is a great watch!

Sometimes the series is tough to watch as it hits you in the gut .. glad this series lasted as long as it did .. just like Hannibal though isn't for young kids!

I watched this show on TV when it first came out. Wanted to buy the DVDs so my husband could watch it since I talked so highly about it. He loved it as much as I did. The bonus features were great also!

This is my least favorite of the three seasons. Still entertaining but not the same without Joe Carol.

This is a great TV series. It is very addictive and only three seasons in all. Thiis is the series for you if you love an unpredictable thriller.

This is definitely the best season of "The Following," and it has a solid ending, all things considered.

We really liked this show and wish it wouldn't have ended already. I wish the ending would have been a little better but we still liked it.

Kevin Bacon holds true to form in this mind boggling series finale. I am truly sad the series has ended, as I was sure to keep 'Following!"

The final season didn't live up to previous seasons. But fans of the series will still like it

Though personally I think there could have been more to the series, it does come to an end and you have to witness it through.

I like this show. Kevin Bacon makes this show works. This was a different kind of series.

Season 1 was great. Season 2 was a let down. They picked it back up with the 3rd season.

Good series to watch all three seasons. Although intriguing watching of the characters.
