Overall I really enjoyed this movie. There were areas of the movie I feel could've been explained better, however, the director really captured pretty much the entire essence of how the McDonald's corporation came to be founded.

Michael Keaton does an excellent acting job in this very good movie. The history about how McDonalds became franchised is very interesting and the movie is quite entertaining. We have shared this DVD with family and friends,

I enjoyed how Ray Kroc was willing to find ways on how to create his empire by using every trick possible allowed by the law. A must see to make you understand how far are you willing to go to become entrepreneur.

This movie just points out how ruthless one has to be inorder to get the pot of gold! The McDonald brothers were no match for the 52 year old laser driven Ray Kroc, great story and sad ending for original brothers

Michael Keaton is amazing in this film as Colonel Nathan Sanders, a civil war veteran who discovers the meaning of life, love, and loss. The Colonel also comes up with a brand new way of making chicken using humans instead of chicken when he becomes THE FOUNDER of KFC.

Satiric view of the supposed founder of the McDonald's chain. Very ,clever, well-observed portrait of the man, with all sorts of ironic subtext. Keaton is very good and the film captures the period extremely well.

The McDonald's story. It starts off a little slow but quickly picks up. I thought it was pretty good but YMMV. The original owners, McDonald brothers Dick and Mac, get taken at the end, not even receiving promised royalties.. Ray Kroc starts referring to himself as "The Founder."

At first I was afraid that this movie was going to be a big long ad for McDonald's, but it was not. Also, I think if it wasn't Keaton playing Kroc, it probably wouldn't have been very good. There were a couple little details in the movie that would have been explained more.

This a great telling of how McDonald’s became a fast food franchise. It is done well and does not sugercoat what really happened. Micheal Keaton give a phenomenal performance in this one.

You will learn a lot about the beginnings of the McDonald's Corporation. The story is sad, but fast moving with excellent acting by all involved. If you like modern history, you will really enjoy this movie.

Keaton grabs this movie and it really is well told about the creation of the McDonald's franchise which literally helped change the world and the way spend our time and how we buy our food. Highly recommend

I did not know much about the story surrounding McDonald's and how it spread across the US and eventually the rest of the world, so this movie was definitely a great educational experience. The acting was absolutely great, especially Michael Keaton and Nic Offerman.

The true story of how Ray Kroc (Michael Keaton), a struggling salesman from Illinois, met Mac and Dick McDonald, and worked to create a billion-dollar burger empire. Fascinating movie. Highly recommended.

I've watched this movie several times. I'm a big fan of McDonald's food and fast food toys. This movie ties everything together. Absolutely phenomenal!

I bought this on recommendation from my brother and am glad I did. Good story of the developement of a business icon. Definitely suggest to people interested in business as well as history.

I missed seeing this in theaters when it came out, but I watched it on demand. It is a very good movie about the meteoric rise of McDonalds, and it features a great performance by Michael Keaton as the tenacious but undermining and cold future CEO Ray Kroc.
