The good dinosaur is such a beautiful movie. It’s about a dinosaur named Arlo that’s weak physically and just as weak emotionally. Through a few hardships along the way he must discover his own strength. When tragedy hits he ends up in his most difficult journey with Spot (his enemy). Spot ironically helps Arlo find his strength to get through trials and tribulations. Arlo finds courage when he realizes that his love for others is bigger than his fear, and fulfills the lesson his father was trying to teach him all along.

A lesser Pixar title, but still enjoyable. Kids will love it. Looks and sounds great.

The movie looks gorgeous in 4K, but the movie itself isn’t that great.

Pixar makes such great films! Got to this watch with my son. We both liked it a lot. My only complaint is that Pixar likes to make you feel sad at some point during almost all of their movies. The A/V is reference material. The visuals may be the most realistic looking CGI I've ever seen for the backdrops. I liked the Western theme in this movie. Very different for a cartoon.

We have twin 4 year olds and they really enjoyed this film.

I got the Good Dinosaur HD Bluray during one of BB's special deals for just under 10 bucks! This price is even lower than Black Friday sales. This was such a heartwarming movie. We loved it, and it brought my kids some smiles during this covid lockdown. I ordered online and was able to do curbside pickup in less than an hour. Great service and Best Buy is on my top lists of stores with convenient online ordering and pickup, and excellent customer service ... even during a pandemic!

Though not reflected by media coverage, this is one of Disney Pixar's greatest achievements. We watch the digital copy almost exclusively due to convenience, but it includes the DVD and BRD as well. The DC appears in Disney Movies Anywhere and therefore transfers to iTunes with your linked account. When you watch this movie, pay attention to the beautiful animation work, particularly in the scene where the water glistens in the sun as it drips from Arlo's belly. You really forget you're watching an animated movie because of how well they've rendered it.

Being an 80's baby I am bent on the original animation I grew up with and the stories our generations movies had. However this movie is a very cute and clean movie. Beware it may jerk a tear from your eye while watching it. I don't buy and or watch all Disney movies because let's face it they're just not as good as the classics used to be. I would highly recommend this movie since it is clean, sweet and comical all in one. I'm glad Disney kept the adult humors out of this movie unlike they do sometimes. Do yourself a favor if you have kids, get this one and enjoy it with them!

Good movie but I didn't think this this was one of Pixar's better ones. I'm 39 and I bought this movie for myself. Yes, you heard right. I actually have a BFA in Computer Animation so I have a real interest in these types of movies. I think the storyline lacked a bit and wasn't quite up to par with what I'm expecting from Pixar, but I will say that the CG environments were over the top. I wasn't a real fan of the cartoony textured characters in a real world CG environment. I think they should have stuck with one or the other and not mix the two different looks. I also found it to be a little odd that the dinosaur speaks and has a pet human that doesn't. Maybe I'm just looking into it a bit too much. Overall, it was still a good movie and I recommend seeing it. It just wasn't one of my favorites.

Saw The Good Dinosaur in theaters and loved the movie. Knew I would want to own as soon as it came out. The bonus features are great and the 3-D lenticular sleeve is a must for Disney collectors. I try to go with the full 3-D combo pack when available because they usually include digital copies if say the regular Blu-ray doesn't. In this case it didn't matter. The short on this film is Sanjay's Super Team which is fun. I'm not sure how it compares to the regular blu-ray but this version has 2 hours of bonus. Entertaining to watch if you're into that sort of thing.

An often overlooked Pixar film that, sadly, did not do nearly as well as it should have! Heartfelt and pure and filled with emotion! A true must-own Pixar film and far superior to many of the "big ones" that they have released. And, even better, it comes in a gorgeous steelbook! Truly, even if you have never seen this film, if you collect steelbooks and love 4K films, then you must have this in your collection!

I didn't hear great things about The Good Dinosaur while it was in theaters so I was hesatent to pick this one up. Don't get me wrong, I didn't hear bad things, it just wasn't getting the reaction Pixar is known for. Turns out it didn't get a fraction of the praise it should have. Hands down one of Pixar's BEST. There is nothing I can tell you that won't be a spoiler other than this is an epicly AMAZING movie that with out question should have a spot in your personal collection. (You'll get that joke after you see the movie)

This is a Western with Dinosaurs. If you love Western movies like Silverado, Butch Cassidy, etc but you have little ones who are not there yet, this is a great introduction to the genre. It is gorgeous, the children characters are less annoying than the little girl in True Grit, and it hits a lot of emotional notes that you would not expect from a dinosaur movie. Overall, it is a treat to watch, especially if you have younger children and want to give them an appreciation for the Western genre.
