Very well done movie, can be a little sad for kids

This is a good animated family story for all ages.

I sat through most of the movie (I nodded off a couple times) and watched the movie with my kids. It didn't quite hold their attention for the whole movie. But they said they liked the movie, especially my son he likes dinosaurs so it was really more for him.

Good movie, another classic that my daughter loved

This Pixar movie is not as good as UP, Inside Out or Toy Story franchises. It's better than Brave. The real treat for me was the cartoon short Sanjay's Superteam. It's unlike any other cartoon short out there from a successful American animation studio.

The plot of this movie is not at all what I expected. Not to spoil it too much, but it's a "dinosaur western." What? Fun for kids, but a little scary and they get high momentarily. Nothing Disney hasn't done already, but definitely a unique plot idea.

And a step backwards in creating a solid movie. Pretty standard formula here, character introductions and away we go on what seems to the usual journey. I can only hope Pixar can still capture the magic that put them on the map in the beginning.

The movie in itself wasn't bad but in my opinion it was a borderline line PG-13. There was some rather dark and violent scenes that probably aren't appropriate for toddlers and young kids. The storyline was okay but ultimately forgettable.

Good family movie. Spent time with my son and it really seemed to impress him. I'm glad I bought this but it is probably not as good as some of Picsars other films. Especially on the heals of Inside Out, one of their best films to date.

I bought this for my daughter since we missed seeing it at the theater. It was an enjoyable film but not as much as recent Disney Pixar releases. I very much enjoy the Best Buy exclusive slip covers for the Disney releases though.

I liked it but I wasn't expecting all the deaths and horrible things that happen in what seemed like a nice kid friendly, family movie. I definitely wouldn't let little youngsters watch it. I'm 24 and was shocked by the violence too.

It's not too shabby of a movie. Kind of not what I expected at all... Which isn't a bad thing. Might be too scary at some points for smaller kids - said my best friend's wife; parent of two children. All in all- not bad!

This is the most beautifully animated scenery I have ever seen! The water especially looks real! The story however leaves something to be desired. It is good and has a great messages, but is not up to par with other Pixar movies.

I love Pixar movies, I've bought every one since the first Toy Story. But this one... was a little weak. The protagonist isn't very likable, and the problems he faces are all self-created. Gorgeous backgrounds though!

If you know Disney then you know what to expect here. That's not a bad thing, however I only gave it 3 stars due to the fact that I don't have the urge to see it again. Not a bad movie, but not special enough for me.

This is another great Disney movie. If you are a Disney fan, you need to check this movie out. My 5-year old daughter loved this movie, but also thought it was a bit sad so be ready for that! Overall, good movie.

This is an good film, but not anywhere near Pixar's best. It's got good ideas, but it's very obvious that there was drama behind the scenes. Still worth it. Subpar Pixar is still ahead of other animation studios.

The movie visually looked great and the idea was well thought out. Mself and family thought it was just too much. One bad thing after another and there was rarely an upbeat happy moment. It could have been fun.

This was not high on my list of Disney / Pixar movies, but it is a good movie for younger viewers. It seemed to be overshadowed by Inside Out, as they both were released not too far apart. Worth seeing, though!
