A solid effort from Pixar. The movie itself is extremely serious and maybe too heavy for some kids, but I overall liked it. The picture on the blu-ray is stunning and compliments the tremendous animation. Definitely recommend this lenticular version. Love the transition effect on the slipcover.

i like the movie becuase it gives a good moral. the moral of the movie was to never give up in your way no matter what obsticles you encounter. some parts of the movie were sad, and most of them were very funny. i would recomend you to see this movie it is not just a kids movie but also a family's movie too.

Great animated movie; excellent storyline. Have always been a fan of Walt Disney features during my childhood years. Disney (now Pixar) has come a long way since the Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck characters I was watching in the 1960's through the 1970's. Definitely recommend for the family.

I originally saw this movie in the theater and was floored with how good it was. While it follows the same formula that other disney movies of its kind have with the death of a parent and the journey of the protagonist. It still felt original and heartfelt. Great movie all around.

i'm a big disney fan and have always enjoyed their pixar movies. this one, however, fell a bit short when compared to the others, in my opinion. granted, it was still a good movie with good visuals and audio. but i just don't think it will hold up as well as finding nemo, wall-e, brave, etc. i enjoyed the movie, but when compared to others in pixar's lineup, this one fell a little short.

Visually stunning film that really shows the leaps and bounds that digital animation has come. It definitely follows the Pixar storytelling formula to a T, but if you are a long-standing Pixar fan, you'll find it visually and heartbreakingly familiar.

As far as I, and my family, are concerned, this movie lives up to the Pixar reputation. It is beautifully animated, and the story is moving. I am not sure why the reviews weren't more unanimously positive, but you can't win'em all, I guess.

Let your kids watch this movie especially if they ever wondered what would happen if cave men and dinosaurs lived together as the two main characters help each other grow and learn how to survive and make a difference as a family.

another hit from Pixar beautifully animated such a touchy mature story. cons could be funnier and its a slower pace movies but its still touchy and great to their library

My mother told me to get my Kids this movie after watching it in flight from one of her trips. So I went ahead and bought it for the kids. They enjoyed it very much. The animation is stunning. I wont be regret buying it.

The movie is delightful for all ages. It kept my attention from start to finish. The blu ray was crisp and the colors popped. I am very pleased with the purchase. I wished they produced more movies liked this.

It was cute and playful, but very different from the Disney Standard Cartoon. I wasn't a fan of the Ceratopsian creepo character trying to name Spot all these way out there morbid names. But other than that cute movie. My daughters love that movie and watch it to death. (1 y/o, 2 y/o, and 7 y/o)

My kids enjoyed this movie quite a bit. The sounds and screen shots are just amazing as to the credit of the latest and greatest technology. Has a good story line and as always, a happy ending.

This movie has it all, it's funny, warm hearted, and charming. Our kids really love this movie. Especially our 3 year old. He could watch it all day long, thank goodness we don't let him.

Pixar never ceases to amaze with their movies, including this one. The role swapping in The Good Dinosaur is flawless, as is the execution. I'd highly recommend it for the entire family.

Good movie but trailer only showed funny scenes whereas this movie had some relatively heavy emotional current to it with family loss, separation, death, and fear being just a few

My son begged to see this movie in the theatre and for some reason we didn't make it. When it came out, I had it waiting for him and he was so excited. This is a really cute movie.

The Good Dinosaur is a fun family movie. Loved that is was actually a western style movie which you would never know by the previews. Great picture and audio as normal from PIXAR.

Disney Pixar year after year releases some fantastic movies. Inside Out was another classic and The Good Dinosaur is a very good one too. Anybody with kids, or any fan of Disney Pixar should pick this film up as soon as possible. Can't go wrong with Pixar.

This is a really good movie, not the best but its formula works really well about family, survival, and companionship. The blu-ray is a must-own for any collector.
