The movie was really good. Witherspoon was great as always!!! Only advice --- purchase from Walmart instead. Best Buy advertises they have movies in-stock READY TO SHIP but actually their inventory is limited. They actually allow you to purchase movies that are BACKORDERED and keep giving you false ship dates. Save yourself a lot of trouble and just purchase them from Walmart that way you can actually be watching the movie instead of waiting on it. Again movie rates an A+ but Best Buy rates an F- (lower if there is such). AFTER READING THE REVIEW GUIDLELINES I AM PRETTY SURE THIS REVIEW WON'T GET POSTED. THAT'S OK --- IF BEST BUY KEEPS STICKING IT TO THEIR CUSTOMERS THERE WON'T BE ANY NEED FOR REVIEWS!!!

The Good Lie, with Reese Witherspoon is funny and delightful but also has a great message. The acting was great! At first I thought I may have made a bad choice but once the story unfolded I loved every minute of it. I really appreciate stories that make you think about the important things in life. This movie did not disappoint.

The Good Lie is a wonderful story of triumph in the face of tragedy. We don't always get a good picture of what the World is like outside of our own lives, but this film shows the heartbreak that thousands of people go through everyday. I'm glad Hollywood is making more uplifting films to share with everyone both young and old.

A true story told with warmth, reality, up close and personal. The actors drew me into their world, their time, their experience of suffering, sorrow, separation, sacrifice, survival. I was reminded of the importance of family, fraternal, extended, hope, faith in God, following Jesus forward.

Amazing story of an incredible war torn family from Sudan coming to America. Wonderful characters, writing, acting, and character development. The title is somewhat misleading as there are actually two "Good Lies" and each will emotionally grip you. This movie is not to be missed.

I bought the movie with a little trepidation as my wife wanted it and I thought I was getting roped into a slow moving chick flick. I couldn't have been more wrong. The movie was great. It was a story that really got to your heart. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a great film to understand how quickly political unrest can create refugees, the human rights struggle to survive, the timeline and luck for the few who make it to America, and their challenge to be accepted, and accept a foreign home.

This is a beautiful story. This is a terrible story. The actors are from South Sudan and lived the experience themselves. A few thousand Sudanese refugees were allowed in the USA. It shows their journey in Sudan and the culture chock after they arrive in the US.

This is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. It is in reality a heartbreaking journey. This movie should open the eyes of Americans who may be unaware of foreign refugee's challenges and history.

Wonderful movie about four boys in 1983. This is a true to life tale of their journey from the war in the Sudan to America. It is a tale of their strength and how they fight to survive!

Really was looking forward to this movie from the start of knowing Reese Witherspoon was producing it...ended up being really good but it was a little slow at times

It was a great movie and told a really touching story! I know someone who works with refugees so it really helped me to understand that way of life and what they go through.

Good movie. There is violence but you don't see it. Sometimes it's a little slow but t my wife loved it.
