Alicia gets involved in politics, showing the the corruption in the political party system. In good soap opera fashion, men keep falling for her. And some major political issues get looked at, like gun control, gay rights. Kalinda's existence becomes precarious. it's great entertainment and thoughtful.

Six years in and The Good Wife continues to deliver. Julianna Margulies' peerless performance remains the anchor to this sharply written and fantastically acted drama. Alicia enters the political arena and everything will change whether or not she succeeds in her bid for Illinois state's attorney.

Did not start watching this series till about the 4th season - what I saw I enjoyed very much. I looked for on demand, or repeats of episodes of the first 3 seasons, but could not find them anywhere, so I ended up purchasing the seasons.

I'm a little disapointed to see Kalinda leave the show. She added that extra flair to this series. I'm sure the writers will come up with someone to replace her. Overall, I still dig this series and can't wait until the new season returns.

With topical plot lines, characters you can love, and hate...or just respect their convictions, this show is a benchmark others would do well to emulate. It all comes down to great writing and acting, directed with intelligence.

Discs have some extras, but could always use more. Season 6 has great arc with Alicia running for Illinois State's Attorney. Her opponent, the man with a conscience, is Frank Prady (played by David Hyde Pierce from Frasier).

Good Wife is a great show many intriguing story lines each season filled with drama and tension to keep you on the edge of your seat with each episode. Cast works perfectly together. Great Video quality.

The sixth season of the good wife continues the story lines begun in the previous seasons. As in prior seasons, very well-written and high quality acting not seen in many TV series.

It was just what I ordered, granted it was delayed due to mail volume but it came just in time for Xmas

Unbelievable! If you have seen any of the series, then this season is no exception to the ongoing personally of the show.
