I actually didn't own a copy of this movie. I just recently bought the 4K player and when i saw this movie just had to get it and add it to the 4K collection. Just get a copy in 4K if you are even thinking about it cause this is a classic for all-time and "Goonies never die!!". If you don't know what that means it's a must that you buy this movie right now!! Good buy!!!

The Goonies 4K Uktra HD breathes new life into this movie classic with its sharp, crystal clear images. This makes for an exciting and ultimately satisfying viewing experience. I already had this movie in DVD format, but you can't beat this upgrade. I highly recommend purchasing this wonderful movie because it's an exciting, heart warming thrill ride that you won't regret.

Bought this for my dad since its his favorite movie. He’d always watch it on DVD or stream it, so when i found out there was a 4k after he’d gotten a 4k player i had to get it. To his and my surpirse there was a noticeable difference in quality. It was crisp and even the sound quality was great—they did a great job in the upscaling. Definitely worth the buy!

Its a solis 4k render of a great classic. The 4k colors brought a freshness to the rewatch you dont get with a 1080p rewatch

Looks marginally better than the blu ray, but a tad dark. You may have to adjust your settings accordingly.

A classic and still a classic as compared to many modern and aold movies. Fun to watch.

A classic 80's movie! My daughter loves this movie.

Anyone who has not seen The Goonies is really missing out. It has everything from car chases to pirate ships, Italian mobsters to crooked business men, Superman to giant squids... ok, maybe not so much. One of the most notable things about this movie that a lot of us kids remember is the inclusion of one of the first of the second gen Jeep Cherokee's in a chase scene after Ma Fratelli breaks her two son's out of jail. It also featured an epic score in the beginning that really sets the pace for the entire scene. The rest of the movie follows the "goonies" who find a hidden pirate treasure map and use it to find clues to the pirate horde while being followed by Ma Fratelli and her two boys in an effort to save their homes from a corporation wanting to buy the land cheap to put up condos. It certainly is a movie of its time, featuring everything that was going on in the 80's between the music, the arcades, the clothing, it's like a little time casual giving a glimpse to what it was like to be in the 80's.
