It's the Goonies what else can I say. Sit down with the family and watch on an enjoyable Sunday afternoon.

And i don't. I don't know what it is, but it is one of my least favorite movies.

My nostalgia won me over to purchase again, but my kids weren't interested :(

Good for nostalgic purposes but certainly not one you really need to have

This is a tough one as a movie review - love the movie and its twists but delivery packaging for delivery has a lot to be desired. This steelbook came dented and under these isolation conditions it isn't worth the risk to return it to the store.

Classic 80s movie. Lots of laughs and fun but way too raunchy for young kids.

Best adventure movie. Great for all ages. A+++++ rating

Not happy with my purchase. Again we have ordered some movies online to be delivered to our home, due to not available for store pickup. I should have learned my lesson the last few times when each movie we received was busted. This one came in and the movie is loose and is rattling in the case. I’m not even going to open it. Not very happy with Best Buy right now.

I dont like this movie but my son does so while I give it 2 thumbs down he likes it

My daughter was happy to find this older movie because they are hard to find at times....

I had heard great reviews about this movie. But came away diaapointed. Not enough dynamics between the actors. And might have been better if you knew more about the people in the story. I felt like i wasn't pulled into the story.

Never delivered. No reason given. One star based on my experience with this order which was extremely disappointing.

Dear Best Buy, please ship better. Collectors collect these.

kinda interesting but does not come close to any great kids movies for teens. very popular but not a healthy movie

Every once in a while that one movie that a whole generation of kids knows and loves comes around. For my generation, it was The Goonies. My friends and I used to pretend we were characters from the movie for months after we saw it. Goonies features one of the most endearing monsters ever, in the Baby Ruth loving Sloth, a young hero, Mikey, who uses his words incorrectly, an asian James Bond wannabe, Corey Feldman as the obnoxious Mouth, and the obligatory fat kid who everyone makes fun off. This group of kids, and Mikey's older brother and his girlfriends go off on an underground treasure hunt in an effort to save their beloved homes which are about to be torn down to make room for a country club. All the while their being pursued by The Fratellis, a family of counterfeiters who are after the same treasure. Awesome in everyway, despite it's script flaws (Data mentions the infamous non-existing octopus scene deleted from the film because it was deemed unnecessary). Goonies features many in jokes Mikey (Sean Astin) at one point exclaims "Holy Mackenzie" an obvious reference to his then teen heart throb brother Mackenzie Astin from Facts of Life. Can't go wrong with Goonies. It's that good.

A cool collector's piece for one of my favorite movies ever. The bluray is just the same old version of the movie. Wish they would've added more extras or something. The box is good quality cardboard. The extras included are pretty cool but not worth $50 (got it on sale for $20 during christmas season so not a big deal). You get a board game i haven't even looked at honestly, a few magazines mini reprints and some story board pictures. if you can find a similar deal than its a great buy, just dont pay full price for it.

Goonies is one of those films that you had to really grow up having watched to truly appreciate, especially considering all of todays high budget fantasy films geared towards the younger crowd. But the truth is, 'Goonies' really is one of the best films ever made and I've yet to meet a person who really didn't like the film. Beautiful production design and good acting really round out this feature, and the dvd itself is outstanding, featuring a bunch of cool extras including one of the best commentary tracks released on dvd.

This was my absolute favorite movie growing up, I must have watched it dozens of times. Even as an adult, I love going back and watching it. It's the quintessential adventure film that will thrill you and make you laugh at the same time. The extra features on the Blu-ray are awesome, especially the extra scenes (including the octopus scene so popular with fans) and even the Cyndi Lauper "The Goonies 'R' Good Enough" video. Goonies never say die!!

The Blu Ray is the same version as already released (also similar to DVD version). What's new is the board game, some nice sketches, and a very interesting copy of a behind-the-scenes magazine. You may have several versions of this movie already (as I do), but believe me, it's worth the money!!!

I love The Goonies growing up, and now they are available on Blu Ray! Watch Chunk do the Truffle Shuffle in Hi Def...LOL. The acting is definitely not the greatest and a lot of the things that go on in the film are very coincidental. However, this does not detract from enjoying oneself. "Hey you guys!" check out Goonies today!
