this game is incredible. the story, characters, detective gameplay, and music are all top notch play it it’s awesome

A great game if you like any of the Phoenix Wright games or puzzles in general. The cases are interesting and the solutions make sense, though this doesn't necessarily mean they are easy. The is so a hilariously over the top version of Sherlock Holmes. Overall, a very enjoyable game.

I’ve enjoyed the Ace Attorney series since the beginning and this is no exception. These games are always full of fun characters, plot twists and fun puzzles. I will say Great Ace Attorney Chronicles tends to lean towards the easier side of the spectrum in comparison to past titles but it would be a great place for newcomers to the series to get their feet wet and enjoy some silly, semi-simulated courtroom antics!

I am a sucker for Ace Attorney games and this one is two in one! Phoenix Wright's ancestor Ryunosuke stars in this latest court room drama! I cant stop playing it! The music gives me goosebumps! Its a good place to start narrative wise if you haven't played an ace attorney game before. Trust me. I have played Ace Attorney 1 through 6.

If you liked the trilogy, you'll enjoy this as well. While I found the trilogy a bit more exciting overall, this game is just a well-written and the characters are enjoyable as well. I also love the 3D graphics and animations rather than just the static images like in the older Ace Attorney games. You should play this just for the new prosecutor, Barok Van Zieks. He is everything.

The return of the Ace Attorney franchise is certainly everything you could have asked for, and yet also more. No longer are the characters clamoring for their delicious post-trial burgers in Los Japangeles, but they are legitimately anticipating sukiyaki in Tokyo. You'll understand why this one took so long to localize once you start playing. I have no objections to playing this game.

I have been waiting for this game to come to the West ever since I first saw this in Japan. It's been years and I'm happy that the two games are translated together. Love the music, artstyle, character interactions and the cases. I love how you can now investigate in 3D. I'm happy there is a physical game instead of the usual digital.

The Great Ace Attorney Duology is one of the best experiences I had in the Ace Attorney series so far, a must buy for Ace Attorney fans that haven’t played it yet, but it’s also a good starting point for newcomers, since it’s a standalone duology from the main series.

This game is wonderful. The presentation and art are great, the characters are well written and the cases are fun to argue. If you're a fan of Phoenix Wright, then this is more of the same. I'm really digging the historical Japan and England settings.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles are two games bundled in one package, The Great Ace Attorney Adventures, and The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve. They are both excellent games that you should definitely give a shot with this complete package.

Exactly as the title says. This game really is one of the best entries to play as a newcomer and the whole series is tightly woven and nicely paced. Highly recommend it to anyone needing more Ace Attorney or a newcomer to the series in general!

Definitely one of my favorite games in the Phoenix Wright series. Gameplay is updated and it doesn't seem like a old school game. It's fun with over 5 cases so you don't feel like it's a quick game. Definitely worth the money.

The game may be set in the past but this is an Ace Attorney game with any modern feature you'd ever need. Great game, great music, just as the title says: it is a Great Ace Attorney.

I love the Ace Attorney games! I've played all of the Phoenix Wright games, so I was so pleased when it was announced these games were finally going to be released in English!

Love it so far! I've been an Ace Attorney fan since the first Nintendo DS games, and these two games (so far) retain all of the charm and wit that those titles have. Beside the courtroom drama and clue exploration, Ace Attorney has always been about the lovable characters and fun-filled dialogue, even the characters that act as antagonists. The writing and translations are both great. I was hoping that the graphical presentation would be modernized a little more, expecting something closer to the recent Famicom Detective games. However, these are simply recent translations of games that only came out in Japan, dating back to 2015. Regardless, the games still look plenty nice.

Really well done game and it's ported well on the Switch. If you're a fan of visual novels and/or you like the Phoenix Wright stuff, you'll enjoy this.

If you like Ace Attorney or point-and-click adventure style of game, this modern game may be for you. Great music, interesting case dynamics and overarching plot and characters too. Only issue with these kind of games is unless you wait a long time, replayability is tough as you often remember the plot/answers. A great experience though and was so glad Capcom decided to give this an English translation and international release. Though this review is for the Switch version (bought as a gift for a family member), I also played through on the PS4 version too - a pretty easy Platinum if you're interested in that.
