Great movie , I’ve checked this movie out from the library a number of times . I figured this is one worth owning! The movie is interesting , and educational . This is a good teaching tool for junior high and high school persons.

You can never go wrong watching a Denzel Washington movie.

The issues that were debated are still relevant to our society and have shaped what America was at the time. The role of government is still argued today especially in the area of assistance for the poor or unemployed. Separate but equal polarized America for years but existed in our society as a norm.

This is a wonderful movie! I can totally recommend it. Denzel Washington is amazing, as usual!

The Great Debaters is enjoyable despite following a formula. It keeps you interested and has a lot of heart.

the young actors in this movie were phenomenal! denzel and forrest whittaker were great, as usual, but it was definitely the younger generation who carried this movie.

This movie was good but a little to long for my liking. I believe they could have got the point across in a shorter amount of time. Denzel was great as always if you looking for a good family movie this is it!
