    John Candy and Can Akroyd are hilarious together. If you are a fan of eight of them, this is a must see movie.

    This movie is hilarious especially if you can relate to taking family vacations and being in the great outdoors, you will love it. I’m from Michigan so I totally related to this movie.

    My whole family have loved this film since it came out, but I hadn't seen it in years so I bought it. It's still pretty funny after all this time and I'm glad it's part of my collection.

    Both Dan Aykroyd and John Candy shine in this hilarious comedy about vacationing in the northern woods. Decent dvd is acceptable but could have offered much more in terms of bonus features.

    let's face it, 1988 was in the doldrums of vapid teen-love subplot slapstick comedies. In that context, and if you like John Candy, it's fun.
