This is a great movie on 4K! The colors of the uniforms popped out so vibrantly & the outdoor scenes was surreal that you felt like you were in China on the Great Wall. I highly recommend this movie to all.

Its a great movie if you're in it for the visual aspect. Story wise, not so much. but it looks amazing especially in 4k. Colors pop and sound is amazing.

We always enjoy Matt Damon movies, this movie although a Sci-fi movie had a good story line, wonderful action and kept your interest

Pay no attention to the cheesy dialog and cardboard characters, and just enjoy this colorful and fantastical movie. Where else will you find an army in hot air balloons and bungie-jumping warriors with lances that double as boomerangs? The stunning richness and clarity of the picture makes you glad that you paid up for your 4K TV. The aggressive Atmos soundtrack offers incredible directional depth, which is perfect for this projectile-dominated movie. So, make some popcorn and enjoy!

Maybe not a blockbuster, but I liked this one. The concept and monsters were pretty cool, the costumes were awesome, especially the armor. One of my favorite Matt Damon movies.

I over heard during conversation at work that the Great Wall was a good movie. I was expecting a movie kinda like 300 or braveheart type drama story. Impulse buy turned into a roller coaster with upside down flips and no track. At the end of the flick. My exact comments were. "Well that was weird". I'd have to say though the special effects were pretty decent. But not quite convincing. The audio was spectacular with atmos really shining during tunnel scene.

I have to admit, I didn't have very high hopes when we bought this movie. I was so wrong! This was an awesome movie! They combined Asian visuals, a fantasy story line, and jam packed action scenes for a surprisingly great movie.

Amazing effects but the story line isn't totally there but worth a watch.

I wasn't expecting much from this unheralded Matt Damon movie but this was pretty entertaining and special effects were pretty cool.

I did not know that this movie was going to be so Epic. Great special effects and the story line was excellent. Lots of action and in 4k it was spectacular.

I think this movie had too high expectations when it was released. I actually enjoyed it and you probably will too if you aren't going into it expecting a Oscar winning movie. It reminds me more of the Mummy (not the latest one) as more of a fun adventure. Otherwise the movie shines in 4k with great detail and color reproduction. Audio tracks are wonderful with lots of loud booms and surround moments to make you smile.

Good movie to watch. Action adventure is fantastic. A bit slow on some occasion but great graphics!

I love the movie and even though I don't have 4K Ultra, the price was decent to get it as long as it has bluray for me. It cost me like $10+ during Black Friday. It was cheaper than the bluray/dvd combo pack for sure.

Searching for the secret of gunpowder a group of European mercenaries go to China during the 11th century, but are pursued by bandits, they flee from the treat and hide in a cave but are attacked by a monster, leaving only two of them, William & Tovar are alive, they slash off the monster's arm and decide to bring the arm with them, but while traveling come upon the Great Wall and are taken prisoner by Chinese soldiers called the Nameless Order, led by General Shao. William and Tovar's battle skills earn the respect of General Shao. The mercenary warrior is imprisoned in the Great Wall where he discovers the mystery behind one of the greatest wonders of the world. As marauding beasts attack the massive structure, he joins the huge army of elite soldiers to confront the unimaginable and unstoppable monster. With a massive cast of soldiers and battles, and with panaramic views that overwelm you visually, the storyline comes up short in the end.

This was a movie that could have been so much more. Everyone in this movie embraces their roles with the exception of Matt Damon. His performance left me with the feeling he did this role as a favor or an obligation to something he didn't want to do. Beyond that the movie had fantastic effects and great acting. I'm not sure why it didn't have a 3d bluray release because some of the effects were obviously meant for 3d.

This is great in hdr amazimg pictures! So many vivid color. And i thought i would be dissapointed in the film. It was actually awesome!
