Bad storyline (try to hard to be creative) Dialogs are so so. Visual is so so. Acting is bad.

Very long and weird movie. Not worth 20 bucks. I want my money back

This has to be the worst movie I have seen this year save your money I wish I would have saved mine.

Bad script, it could be for kids. I could not watch to the end.

Movie was not attention grabbing what so ever, shut it off half way through.

Got it on the cheap would not recommend pass just a rental

Not worth the dvd it was made on..this dvd sucked.

The Great Wall is a visual feast; the battle scenes along the wall with color coded soldier roles is a particular highlight. Matt Damon is great in his role, and the complaints about him being a "white savior" are completely unfounded. While he is quite skilled, with the arrow scene in the dining hall being a fun moment specifically, it is clear his relationship with the commander lady is clearly a balanced partnership. The movie is great fun, the battles are grand in scale and scope and the enemies are resourceful and relentless.

Well a physical disc copy is more noticeable better in quality than a streamed movie, however this movie is a one time watch. If you got a thing for collecting Matt Damon films, go ahead and add it to your library.

Not what I was expecting. It is a fantasy movie but full of action and great graphics.

I think this is an ok movie. Special effects are good but story/plot is pretty typical. Mysterious traveler stumbles into foreign land, befriends the locals and, ultimately, saves the day. Not a whole lot of action sequences (or not enough IMO) but a decent movie to watch. I'd suggest Netflixing or Redbox this movie. Don't think this is personal movie collection material.

Previews looked great, had great action scenes (read: the entire movie was action!). Well done

Love Matt Damon. The scenery and the apparel were fantastic. The creatures were tactful and brutal. Make you wonder why the Great Wall was built.

Not for sure what the fuss is about, a very good fantasy period piece, great plot, good acting.

The movie takes an iconic structure, and instead of fighting a nomadic tribe, such as the Mongols, Turics and Xiongnu, Matt Damon fights giant lizards. Visually the movie has an impressive wall and really good CGI, but the storyline is just downright awful, and the acting just average. A little bit of historical accuracy ala Braveheart or The Patriot could have lead to an incredible movie, instead, one is left wanting the movie to be more, anything more than it is, very disappointing.

I was expecting a drama with some action but what I get was a fantasy movie that was all CGI action. My fault. Movie is OK.
