I really enjoyed this movie and the 4K transfer looks fantastic! The songs are catchy and has a really great story.

I am not much of a musical fan and I had been hearing about this movie from a friend, so we happened to watch it one night hanging out and it did not disappoint. This movie is a masterpiece of such vibrancy that it defies description. The music is exhilarating, and the cast so enjoys reaching the expectations of the audience. This was really a spectacular movie and you will definitely enjoy it!

The movie is a little bit to long for the story plot but overall it’s a good musical film.

A good movie, not great, but if you like musicals it is entertaining and Hugh Jackman does a really good job in his lead role. The movie also has a good message about acceptance.

Pros: Movie is worth watching & won’t regret it. Great message, soundtrack & story. Slipcover. Cons: 4k picture/disc not worthy as some & that’s coming from someone having a calibrated OLED, high end cables & Oppo player! Weak Atmos level & surround. No height effect on my ceiling speakers from a calibrated 11.2 (7.2.4) setup. When I pop in other movies in, it come to live!

This story is eloquently constructed, tho some names are the same, this is a loosely based story of Barmums life. and it is magnificent, Wonderful, magical, and inspiring. This musical is mesmerizing, it connects to the viewers that can cast aside, it as, a documentary of barnum's actual life. There is tenacity and love, a few love stories at once, there is Songs that can be felt and bring personal emotion to the surface, there is whimsy and, oh yes, there is love. Somethings, stay the same, some things change, but no matter how you view it, The songs are impressive, well constructed and hit their mark, the scenes are from the further reaches of the imagination. It is so lovely and amazing that you will get caught up in the heart, or the story, and be cheering for everyone. I personally love the songs bought the soundtrack. twice, And see this as an iconic journey in finding oneself. but not just for 1 man, but for many, In the Same contrast as Moulin Rouge, Chicago, Best little wH0Re house in texas, Rent, and other musicals, This takes the cake in being perfectly directed, hitting marks and Making it all come to life. Five stars, this movie was a staple, of my 3k movie collection. Just amazing.

I LOVED IT!!! This movie will make you laugh, will make you cry, will inspire you, and will definitely entertain you. It is a Broadway show on steroids! The cinematography, the directing, the composition of the scenes, the choreographies, the costumes, the music... everything was amazing. The music really gets in you. The songs are catchy and fresh. I have it on my playlist on repeat. The song This is Me will become an anthem for sure. The acting was amazing. I love Hugh Jackman; he never disappoints. Zac impressed me too. The scene with Zac and Zendaya in the air was perfect! I mean, this is the only movie I would go back to watch in the theater. I didn't even do it for Titanic! My daughter age 13 loved it too. It was the best Christmas movie ever.

A genuine family musical that does not hold back. Filled with wondeful songs and great performances, and real world conflicts that leave you attached to each character in the best ways. It has moved my entire family over and over again. My mother loved it so much I sent it with her in her casket in 4k and blu ray.

Simply incredible! Don't believe what the critics say about this movie...It is magical. Hugh Jackman was made for this role and it shows how much fun he had playing Barnum. This is a musical and it delivers in ever sense. The songs (lyrics), the cast singing them, and choreography are all amazing. As soon as we got out of the theater I purchased the soundtrack. Fantastic original music. I can't wait for the movie you be released to Amazon so we can watch this at home. But don't wait for the home release, go see it in theaters. This is one worth seeing on the big screen. I can't say enough about this movie. My new favorite!

As counter programming, this movie opened the same month as Star Wars: The Last Jedi. That seemingly was not a wise decision. It didn't seem it would stay in theaters for very long, as it received both terrible reviews from critics and audiences seemed to be flocking to The Last Jedi. But word of mouth, the most effective form of advertising, spread and audiences decided the movie was worth a look. So it stayed in theaters for months, ending its run in July-- months after it had been released on home media. That shows you what audiences thought of the movie. Those who enjoyed the movie will probably also want to pick up the soundtrack. The songs are incredibly catchy.

I rented this movie when it first came out. I thought it would be something my older child would watch, and if we were lucky, the younger one too, but I had no idea it was a musical. My whole family, from pre-school to middle school age really liked the movie and the music. Instead of continuing to spend money on renting the movie, I went ahead and bought it. The special features are really cool since they show a lot of footage from singing and dancing rehearsals and how the songs were created. This is a movie that my family and I still enjoy watching together, and I often recommend it to others who haven’t seen the movie.

Our family went to watch this movie on Christmas Eve. We hate musicals, and I hadn't seen any previews, so I had no idea what I was getting the family into. Imagine my surprise when the previews ended and Hugh Jackman sang, "Ladies and Gents this is the moment you've waited for." I cringed, and looked over at my husband. He gave me the, "You've gotta be kidding me! We paid $40 to see A STUPID MUSICAL!" look. I shrugged, and mouthed SORRY. We only pony up the money to see movies in theaters, maybe three times a year. If that. Frankly I was mad that we just wasted a ticket. I sat back, and made up my mind to hate it. But truth be told, I didn't. I liked it. We all liked, but didn't want to admit it out loud to each other. We walked out and all agreed it was better than we thought it would be. Then a funny thing happened. We all kept singing the songs. So... we bought the album. After listening to the songs over and over, we all agreed we needed to go see it again. We loved it, and all agreed it was an awesome movie. It became an addiction! We kept listening, and the more we listened, the more we loved it. We tried to resist paying to see it again... how silly would that be? After waiting two weeks, we went to see it AGAIN. Now we all agree, BEST MOVIE OF ALLLLLL TIME. Ever. Hands down, our new favorite. It's February 5th and I've already bought a digital copy on Amazon. Give it a chance! Even if you're like us, and hate musicals!

I really like this movie, already watched it twice. In 4k on an OLED TV the picture is amazing. Set your TV and 4k Blu-ray to Dolby Vision, if equipped, the picture looks unbelievable. You'll swear your standing in the scene. The music and dance are what keep me coming back to watch repeatedly. Hugh Jackman is really a versatile actor, who would have thought a wolverine could sing and dance. We have a new home theater with a 9.1 speaker system and this had the house rocking!

Possibly my favorite movie of all time. Not my favorite musical. Not my favorite Hugh Jackman movie. But my favorite movie...period! Just a fantastic kid-friendly movie that every member of the family will enjoy and appreciate. If you like musicals, you’ll LOVE this one. If you’re not a fan of musicals, this may be the one that wins you over. The story. The message. The acting. The choreography. The costumes. And the music. Oh...the music! You’ll want to jump off the couch and applaud at the end of each song. It’s that good. So put it in, crank up the sound bar and enjoy the Greatest Show(man)!!

Hugh Jackman does a superb job. I took a date to see this in the theater expecting a so so musical and left feeling good and impressed with how great the cast does in the dances and songs. This movie was a surprise and I enjoyed it immensely. Hugh Jackman has a great voice and helps make this movie inspiring and touch you in ways emotionally one wouldn't expect.

Ok, even I have been surprised that I would say this, but I enjoyed this movie. Never thought I would be a fan of Musicals, but some are not that bad, sure some singing can be over the top, but this has some of the best in-movie songs I have seen performed with actors you would never associate with the songs. I have found with this movie and a few others of recent that You get Better acting in these type of movies, the actors Have to carry the movie and they do...!

I was sceptical about this movie and had no interest in seeing it. Boy was I wrong! A friend told me how much he and his family loved movie and that the sound tract was the best he had ever heard. So I bought it and o love it Hugh Jackman continues to surprise me, he can sing! His range is ridiculous. It's not just a circus movie, it's a movie about life.

Much like P.T. Barnum himself, The Greatest Showman hoodwinks moviegoers with a whopper of a fantasy, thrilling them with flamboyant spectacle and an imaginative fairytale that inspires. Starring Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Michelle Williams, the musical drama hits a few snags during the show, but the overall performance is freakishly entertaining and delightful, finishing strong in the end. The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray takes to the stage with an excellent and lovely HEVC H.265 encode and a satisfying Dolby Atmos soundtrack that'll have owners cheering, dancing and singing along with the characters. With a small but extensive and informative set of bonus features, the overall package is recommended for the whole family and the freaks who enjoy a good musical.
