One of the great movies released near the end of the century. Tom Hanks, Michael Clarke Duncan (RIP), Sam Rockwell; this movie had it all.

I've had this movie in previous versions. It is nice to have a copy in Blu-ray. If you haven't seen it, please do. It is very beautiful.

Frank Darabont is one of the greatest directors to have handled Stephen King’s works - all three of his collaborations with the horror legend are incredible movies on their own terms, from the themes of dreams and liberation in Shawshank Redemption to the grotesque terror seen in The Mist. The Green Mile, like its jail film companion Shawshank, juxtaposes the stale green linoleum floors and barred windows of prison with a man’s innocent, almost childlike perception of the world and his ability to heal. The Green Mile is a great movie, through and through, and its Blu-ray delivers a faithful watching experience. It shipped in great condition, features high quality video and audio, and has Tom Hanks. It’s awesome, even if the massive accolades on the top take away from the display.

The Green Mile looks amazing on 4K UHD blu-ray! Picture quality is a huge upgrade from the previous older blu-ray release, with sharper visuals and more naturally looking color pallet through HDR10. Unfortunately no new special features are included in this newly released 4K UHD. The 4K disc only contains an Audio Commentary by director Frank Darabont. The standard blu-ray disc contains the following special features: -Audio Commentary by director Frank Darabont (same as 4K disc) -Walking the Mile: The Making of "The Green Mile" -Miracles and Mystery: Creating The Green Mile -Deleted Scenes (2 clips - 3:32 total) -Michael Clarke Duncan's Screen Test (8:26) -Tom Hanks' Makeup Tests (5:30) -Teaser and Trailer (3 clips - 8:18 total)

A classic, one of tom hanks favorites! As soon as I saw it on the bin, I couldn't let the chance go for a good price.

This is one of my favorites of all times. Was able to find it at best buy for a great price. Great addition to my collection.
