Great movie, would definitely recommend watching as it is a classic

This movie is a classic. It is a must need in your collection.

You don't need me to tell you the merits of this brilliant film. Even though parts of it are pretty harrowing, it's a movie I could watch again and again. Masterful performances across the board. I splashed out and bought the steelbook and I love the artwork, the packaging and most importantly the quality of the new transfer. The film has never looked or sounded as good. It's a minor point, but just like the recent UHD Shawshank transfer it uses an aspect ratio that really fills the screen nicely with only tiny black bars top and bottom. Overall, I couldn't be happier!

If you like this movie, than this 4K release is a MUST OWN! Especially at the Black Friday price tag. I love future-proofing my collection by upgrading the classics to 4K. It's nice knowing that you will never have to rebuy another version of a movie once you've gotten the best format that matches the resolution that the movie qas shot at. Especially with a company like Warner Bros. who does a great job with their transfers for the new formats. A great movie that's never looked better!

A great film ! I Enjoy it every time I watch it...

I was working for Showcase Cinemas when The Green Mile came out and no one wanted to screen it because of it's long running time, myself included, but something told me to watch it and now its in my top five favorite films!!! The picture is gorgeous and crisp and the soundtrack very clear. I don't want to spoil this unusual and spiritual story written by of all people Stephen King!! There is some harsh language and brief partial nudity , but please don't let that keep you from seeing this fantastic film.

Great movie movie a must see, even after all these years

This is a veru underrated movie in my honest opinion.

If you haven't seen this film...SEE IT! Everthing this film provides is so beautifully executed (pun intended) that it is an emotional journey that stays with you for long after you experience it. All acting is top notch, story is compelling and well written (what else do you expect from Stephen King?), cinematography is beautiful and the music is impeccable. The blu ray has Dolby truehd 5.1 sound and is well done, lots of extra features to watch. This is one film that will always have a place in my library.

The Green Mile is a remarkable spiritual successor to The Shawshank Redemption (another Frank Darabont / Stephen King film) that is equally uplifting and depressing, with yet another great Tom Hanks performance during the prime of his career (and the same year as Toy Story 2). And in one of the best years in film history, The Green Mile stands out to me as one of the best and most underrated. Highly recommend this bluray release, which contains a wide array of special features.

The 4K version is definitely worth the upgrade. Excellent detail, rich blacks, and better color grading. If you haven't seen it, be prepared for a tear jerker. Not a depressing tear jerker, but a wonderful and satisfying one. I'd say its superior to Frank Darabont's previous Stephen King prison movie, "The Shawshank Redemption".

What a great movie remade in UHD and surround sound. Older movies that are remastered to 4K UHD but not shot in that resolution in my opinion are as good as new material. They did a good job of upscaling this movie to UHD. If you don't already own this movie and you have the 4KUHD it's a great value.

I’m not much of a reviewer on 4K transfers, can’t tell you the fine details, so I’ll just resonate my opinion and other reviews on this. Amazing transfer. The finest version of this film so far. Fine detail is astounding and the HDR is amazing. Buy this, and if you really love it get the steelbook too!

Excellent film. One of Stephen King's best stories, all performances are great including Tom Hanks. 4K presentation is very good although the movie is not the best to showcase your 4K home theatre, still the best presentation of the film for home theatre.

I Loved this movie. My Sister told me about this movie. I saw a little of it on television a while ago, so when I saw this Blu-Ray at the store, I had to get it. Kind of a sad story, but really good. It's a long movie... 3 hours, give or take, but so worth seeing. Highly and Strongly Recommend !!

This was my first time watching this movie and it was excellent. The audio and visual quality were great. I had heard great things about this movie, but kept putting it off. Definitely worth watching and a must own in everyone’s collection.

Good King adaptation even if it doesn’t live up to Shawshank Redemption

This is my second favorite Stephen King movie to come to the 4K format right behind The Shawshank Redemption. The quality is equal in every aspect. This movie literally looks as though it was shot in the last few years and the Dolby Vision HDR and resolution is top tier.
