I don't like Stephen King or his movies but I forgot how good this movies was until I purchased & watched again (in Blu-ray this time). Great cast & story with a somewhat good ending. I will not say what the ending was or is.

My husband and I both love this movie. We enjoy the digital version in 4K that came with the purchase. There are also 2 DVDs, one in 4K and one in regular mode so you don't need a high tech 4K DVD player. We definitely recommend purchasing this movie.

Amazing acting and well told story. The first time I saw this I didn't know it was Steven King until the credits. I'm happy to have this in my collection replacing a DVD. Picture is excellent, not a movie for sound since it's dialog.

For a movie that's over 20 years old, this movie looks fantastic! Very similar to the Shawshank 4K release from 2021, so if you thought the picture upgrade was worth getting on 4K, this is more of the same. Definitely recommended for anyone on the fence about upgrading.

One of the greats from Darabont brought to 4k with a beautiful transfer. The colors are quite accurate and the 4k resolution is flawless, just as good as the Shawshank transfer in my opinion. The steelbook artwork is miles better than the standard release as well.

Great movie, enjoyed it in blu ray and looks even better in 4k Blu Ray. No stream will come close to the physical media but for convenience it comes with a digital code you can link it to Vudu or another provider if you want

One of the most powerful movies you’ll see. A perfect companion piece to Shawshank Redemption. The transfer here is stunning and I think this is the best this film is gonna look. Highly recommend picking this one up. It will break your heart though so be warned.

One of my favorite Stephen King books of all time given a great movie adaptation. The acting, score, and obviously plot are phenomenal. The 4k looks great and the sound mix makes this a great way to watch the movie.

This is a beautiful steelbook. The colors are vibrant and the artwork (both inside and out) are very well done. If you're a collector of steelbooks, like myself, I would highly recommend adding this one to your collection. You won't be disappointed!

While I feel other images would have worked better, the design is still nice for this steelbook (definitely better looking than the standard release). The movie is one of my favorites: well made story, characters and emotionally driven film.

A one of a kind classic, one of the most penetrating films of the past several years, Story is so powerful, and brilliant performance by all the characters. A great film and a must for true movie fans.....

Tom Hanks a great actor made this movie with his co actors makes this a must have for your collection. It makes you wonder if there are god’s children are out there with the healing powers of the lord’s hands

Timeless classic. Walking the mile. Gettin right for Jesus. All in all, Tom Hanks best movie, my opinion. Every character has their story which blends perfectly in the move. Tell me you weren't heart broken when John Coffey was electrocuted.

Director Frank Darabont returns to the world of Stephen King with this wonderful tale about a prison guard and a very special inmate. This film is a little overly long and not quite as good as “The Shawshank Redemption, but that’s not really saying much as this is still a fantastic film with plenty of heart!

One of my most cherished movies in the library. If you dont cry watching this, your probably dried up and dead inside. One of the best Stephen King adaptations. The 4k version looks fantastic.

Overall, this film is a deep touching story about an “innocent” man convicted of a murder. You’ll not want to miss this story. Deep, touching, and heartfelt story with a delightful ending!

Frank Darabont is one of my favorite directors! He also produced "The Mist" and the first season of "The Walking Dead". I highly recommend this movie and the 4K transfer is awesome!

please pretty please with a cherry on top! watch this movie with the family. it hits you hard with emotions. it has you laughing, it has you crying, and it has you believing. seriously one of the greatest films i have ever seen

I didn't realize the movie was that long (188 minutes). The director perfectly told us a story of miracle. Tom Hanks was amazing as usual. Michael Clarke Duncan played a big role here. He represented the character well enough to make his appearance memorable. My only regret was that I didn't watch this movie earlier.

An incredible movie from beginning to end. So well performed by the entire cast. Unforgettable. Wow! the 4K transfer is fantastic. It looks so pristine and vivid that it takes you breath away. You got to have this one.
