A good old monster movie. The monsters are creepy and all ways near by.

I bought the Blu-ray without having previously seen the film, but I read some positive reviews that led to my blind-buy. I'm glad I did - it's really well-made, and pretty creepy. It's more about mood and atmosphere, instead of gore. The scares are genuine, and the film is really well-realized.

Cool little horror film, kinda like Pan's Labyrinth!

Based on an Irish tale, a family moves into a house located close to the forest that is going to be destroyed. It starts off a little slow, but once you get past the first fifteen minutes, you won't be able to take your eyes off the TV. Definitely worth watching!!!

The film across the board is acted well, shot well and the story is interesting. In addition to that, it keeps the tension up through the length of the film. Practical effects, creepy lore, and beautiful scenery. I would definitely recommend checking this out.

Indie horror is in a bit of a renaissance. The Hallow is an awesome spin on the changling lore. Backed by a great cast, legitimate suspense and pretty impressive effects. Horror fans should not miss this.

This movie was just ok. Nothing great, nothing special. But that’s just my taste.
