This is a bit overly long and builds slower than I'd like but is still a worthwhile Quentin Tarantino film. If you liked Django Unchained, this one is somewhat similar in approach/look/feel and about as good, although I prefer Django by a small margin.

Quentin Tarantino has always had a unique approach with his films and stellar actors in them. This film is no different. Such grade A actors with a plot twisting story line. Always enjoyable, but some people might be turned away from the length of the film. I enjoyed every minute.

Movie plays and sounds great. Both the discs and the digital copy worked fine, which is all I really ask of a retailer The movie itself is exactly what you’d expect of Tarantino. Violent and crass with incredible dialogue. It’s not his best but still very good.

This is an awesome film from director Quentin Tarantino. For only $5 you get a Blu-ray Disc, a DVD and a digital copy! This is definitely worth a buy and is a very uniquely shot movie, given how recently it was made. Can’t wait for a 4K release!

Nice Western movie with a little mystery and some highly rated movie stars.

This movie was very good. If you like Pulp Fiction, you’ll love this film. It’s classic Quentin Tarentino. Funny and bloody. It takes awhile to build the characters, so it starts slow with lots of Tarentino dialogue.

hateful eight is a good, but very long movie. entirely character driven, they're basically stuck in the same room the whole time but their interactions and chemistry between the characters and actors is great.

This is a "who can you trust" movie. The actors were all perfect in their rolls. He was set out to have her hanged and they tried to stop him. What happens is a surprise, surprise.

I really enjoyed watching this movie. I think this movie is one of the better one's that the director has done. I like all of his movies almost. Pulp fiction was wonderful movie also.

The plot develops throughout the entirety of the film as a work of art. The character development throughout the film slowly grows to piece together the puzzle and ends with a bang!

Only Tarantino can make a movie where people just talk for the first hour and a half entertaining. He is a master of dialog and once things get heated at the end a blood bath ensues.

Now, since it is a Tarantino film it is definitely a great "whodunnit" with witty dialogue and eye catching idiosyncrasies but when I went to rewatch it the replay value just wasn't there. Which I guess is the fault of "whodunnit" type movies where the story relies too much upon the reveal. I'm not saying don't buy this or don't see it necessarily but it is worth questioning how soon would you want to replay a film and what has been your opinion of "whodunnits" in the past.

This movie takes it's time to get to the main plot of the story, which I had no problem with. The cast was great and the story was very entertaining.

The most visually interesting film Tarentino has made. Great transfer, just a little light on features. If you like tense, slow burns - get this!

How can you not like watching Samuel L Jackson shoot people and Jennifer Jason Leigh get her butt kicked throughout the movie.

Beautifully filmed. Love Kurt Russell and Samuel L Jackson in particular. If you like or love Tarinton and the old west this movie is for you.

Excellent movie and a great price on black Friday. It was only one left in the store and I was the last lucky one.

Classic who done it, guess who style type movie. Twists n turns around and your always misled about the characters. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I didn’t expect to like this one as much as I did. Do not be put-off by the duration of the film, it continuously gets better as the film goes on.

Such a fantastic film, and quite possibly Tarantino's best to date. Contrary to what the title, and even promotion, for this film would suggest...this is NOT an old-timey, shoot-em-up Western. No, this is a masterfully directed Hitchcockian "Who Done It?" that just happens to take place in the old west. The film plays out like a slow boiling crime mystery, and is filmed almost like a stage play, as the bulk of the film takes place in a small cabin. This film is dialogue heavy, but thanks to the brilliant cast and a fantastic script, you hardly notice it. Filmed in 70mm, this film is a visual feast...absolutely stunning. From the gorgeous, sweeping views of the snow covered trees and mountains, to the intimate, and intricate, indoor shots...this film is simply gorgeous. My only complaint here, and it's the same complaint I have with ALL of Tarantino's films, is the non-stop barrage of profanity. As a Christian, it is very frustrating to see such artistry as is displayed here, marred by unnecessary language...hence it's loss of one star in my review...though I should have docked it two stars. So to my fellow Christians, I say proceed with caution...if you can deal with the onslaught of profanity and some incredibly violent and gory scenes, you will be rewarded with one of the most beautiful and mesmerizing films to come out in years.
