I bought this blue-ray movie on sale for $6. This enjoyable movie has many great actors and a great plot. Worth seeing1

Samuel L Jackson's character is one to remember. Yes, there's the requisite shooting and cursing. And some surprises.

Have seen this movie many times. Will watch movie many more times. All great actors! Quentin Tarantino never disappoints.

It's Tarintino what do you expect? It will be brilliant. and it is . It's not his best, but it's up there

I wouldn’t consider myself a big Tarentino fan, but the movies I did see of his. Pretty much always shock me. In a I can’t believe he/she just did, or said that kind of way. Plus I’m a fan of Samuel Jackson. I saw this movie on sale, and decided to get it. At the main core of the movie I felt it was a who done it mystery with lots of surprises. I’m happy with the purchase.

This film has a great cast they all play so well off each other which shows in how good the movie came out in the end awesome film.

Sprawling and filled with call-backs to a million films that came before it, former video store clerk and renowned auteur Quentin Tarantino once again takes on the Western genre with his latest film, The Hateful Eight. A textbook "slow burn" film, TH8 unspools slowly revealing its colorful cast of characters and their apparent motivations. I say "apparent", because some folks in this movie are not what they appear, and finding the clues and reading the performances to discover who isn't who they claim to be is half the fun of this movie. I would say, in my own opinion, that this is a beautifully crafted film, probably one of Tarantino's most cinematically breathtaking productions to date, but it takes it's good sweet time to get things rolling, and for some folks, that may be asking too much. For Tarantino fans, and old school movie fans, this film is a must-see. Younger viewers, teens and twenty-somethings, not immersed in movie culture or versed in "old" movies (you know, the good stuff made before they were born) will find this film ultimately boring until it finally pays off with a burst of violence and mayhem in its latter minutes. As with most Tarantino films, it helps to speak "Tarantino" or at least to be fluent in what he's laying down.

Entertaining from beginning to the end, plenty of known actors,Channing, Kurt Samuel and Bruce the whole crew

Sweet Movie.. Pins and needles all the way till the ending. Won’t be disappointed. Have your popcorn in hand.

I got a great deal on this. Love that it includes both a Blu-ray & DVD copy. The Digital alone is worth the purchase.

Great movie. A little gory as most of the Tarantino movies are. But all in all a great movie to watch with a twist at end.

The film is too well crafted to get the really low scores, the cinematography is too good, the acting too high caliber, the direction too solid, the score too nice, and the flick too engaging for such ratings. This also applies to the other end. The "twists" are unimportant and add no spice, the pacing just slogs along, the joy too nonexistent, the characters evoke too little emotion either way, the story too light on satisfaction, the story telling too inconsistent, the length too needless,the magic (other than on the technical side) too absent, and the rewatchability too minimal for me to see greatness but maybe a second viewing will change my perspective but it will definitely be on video for me, only the lure of a hot date fixated on going could get me into the theater again other than maybe just for the experience a 70mm screening. I'm a pretty avid Tarrentino fan but I didn't overly enjoy this effort. I more appreciate it and can't say I wasn't engaged but I also can't say that I'm eager to see it again and worse for the first time I have little inclination to do so with a flick by Q. A generous 7/10 (rounding up from 6.5) for me but I could see ceiling of 8 and a basement of 4 at the lowest.

I enjoyed this movie alot, its pretty long but overall I got was I was looking for in a typical Tarantino film..

Caught this on sale! No regrets, solid purchase. I'll definitely enjoy this item going forward.

Good movie overall. If you like S Jackson it is a great title to add to your collection.

A movie with a nice Western feel to it. Glad to see they can still make movies like they used to

If you love Quentin Terentino you will love this. A little blood shed but necessary to make the movie

If you love Tarantino, you'll most likely love this film. If you love the inventive ways many directors have been toying with the western genre in the past 10-15 years, you'll also probably love this film. And, surprisingly, if you love John Carpenter's "The Thing", you'll probably love this movie (both films were scored with similar themes by Ennio Morricone, both are about isolation and paranoia, both take place in similar environmental conditions causing for similar situations, both sets of characters are attempting to figure out which among them are bad). That being said, if you dislike Tarantino, you should probably stay away from this film. Regardless of subject matter and style, the film is beautifully shot/scored/directed/acted. The release is fine—no noticeable problems with the film transfer or sound. No glitches (visual or sonic) when playing the film. Unless it is a Criterion release (which this is not), I won't pay more than $10 for a BluRay. I was lucky enough to pick this disc up for $4 on Black Friday. Enjoy. But seriously, for film nerds like me, watch this back to back with "The Thing" for some fun analysis and conversation. Plenty to chew on.

Pretty much what you come to expect from a Quentin Tarantino movie. Bloody and beautifully filmed.
