I love this series I have watched this probalky at least 12 times on Netflix already everything about it is good the story is really well told & moves at a good pace. The acting is excellent & it keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more this is one of those series that you will binge watch in 1 day back to back because you wanna know what happens next. I was very excited to here they were releasing an extended directors cut of this series so I had to get it. I you like horror movie or tv shows you will not be disappointed with this I guarantee it.

Love this series! Had to get it as soon as it was available. Such an interesting storyline with amazing characters you feel for and can relate to. It’s Scary without having to rely on jump scares - really there was like one (car scene). The only thing I wish this series did different was used the original dark ending the director was planning on!

Yes, this show is still available on Netflix, but through Netflix I don't own it; I merely have access to it. Owning a copy of the show is reason enough to purchase it, but add to that the guarantee of visual and audio quality typical to Blu-ray, AND extended episodes with commentary? This is a must own for fans of 'The Haunting of Hill House.'

This is one of the best horror series in recent memory, and it comes as a highly recommended for those without Netflix, especially since there are certain episodes that are the extended director's cuts, not available on Netflix. No special features are a bummer, but overall this is a purchase you'll be satisfied with

For those unfamiliar with Mike Flanagan, he's becoming a quick household name in the horror genre. For those looking to get a quick intro to his work, The Haunting of Hill House is a wonderful place to begin. Give this a shot, and if you like it go grab the Blu-ray release for some extended episodes.

I was blown away by how good this show was. It follows a family who left their "haunted house" at a young age and picks up with them being older and scarred from the trauma in their lives. It will jump back and forth between past and present regularly. Overall, a great watch.

This is hands down one of the greatest horror TV series of all time. The blu-rays are absolutely gorgeous. I just wish the audio was in Dolby Atmos and not just DTS-HD MA. Some great commentary from Flannagan on select episodes too.

I watched the show on Netflix first and saw that they where coming out with this and definitely had to jump for it. I recommend getting it.

I was glued to the TV when this first came on Netflix! I know I’m going to wear these blu ray discs out, as I’ll be watching this repeatedly! Just watch the background scenes! ;)

Watched this on Netflix and I loved everything about it. I read the classic novel by Shirley Jackson and adored it and obsessed with haunted houses and ghost stuff.

So excited this came out on physical media, with director's cut episodes no less! One of the best series I've ever seen - worth revisiting over and over.

The Haunting of Hill House is one of the greatest horror shows ever made. The writing, directing, acting, and cinematography are masterful.

A smart updating of the Hill House story with very creepy scares. Saw it on Netflix, but the Bluray has extended episodes and commentary!

I have Netflix and watched this series on it via streaming, but between random internet outages and Netlfix always pulling content from their service (including their own shows), I like my physical media as an option. Always have, always will. I decided to purchase this on Blu Ray. I work with video editing as part of my job, so I am a quality nut. I have the Netflix 4k streaming package, Buying this series on Blue-Ray just goes to show that streaming services are just not up to snuff yet when it comes to comparing quality to physical media. I have a Gigabit download speed that's hardwired to LG OLED tv, so I get the max streaming qyalkity offered. Picture quality on this Blue-Ray set matches the 4k streaming quality of Netflix, if not looks a bit better. And the audio is hands down higher quality. I re-watched much of this series with family who had not watched seen it yet, and the BlueRay was well worth the purchase. The series itself is excellent, and from a quality standpoint, the disc version just looks and sounds better.

Been a big fan of Mike Flanagan since I first watch Oculus and his style shows in the series making it an awesome watch!
