A thriller worth a look! A movie that shows how the Manson Family functioned like a murdering cult whose members committed a crime so horrific that this movie (while it shows the horror of that crime the Tate murder), it raises what if there had been efforts to fight back against the Manson Cult. It is definitely worth a look for giving a unique perspective on this crime.

The Haunting Of Sharon Tate is great horror film because you feel the fear of what it must've been like for Sharon Tate and her friends on that night back in August 1969. The film also works as a companion piece to the just released Once Upon A Time...In Hollywood and completes the trilogy with Helter Skelter (1976) on films based on the Tate LaBianca killings.

This movie got a lot of hate for many different reasons. Personally I am a huge Sharon state fan which is why I night the film & wanted to see Hilary’s Duff version of Tate. They were very detailed about the horrific event of 1969 and the two leads did great Jonathan Bennett and Hilary Duff were great together. I found the two actors a bit annoying if I’m being honest. Especially the guy that was playing Abigail Folgers boyfriend. As for the women who played Abigail Folger her acting wasn’t any better but again this wasn’t meant to be an Oscar worthy film. Just a good old horror movie night.

This was a very well done 'different perspective' and was done very well in my opinion. The ending was AWESOME! I recommend this if you are looking for a totally different perspective

the story was predictable---no new twists to keep someone's attention

Good disturbing film, especially if your into the Manson story.

Seen people either love or hate that this movie was made. GIVE IT A CHANCE. It’s actually a really good movie and has a big twist at the end. For not being made by a big budget company, it’s pretty frickin good.

My wife and I were not able to see this movie in our local movie theater and am happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and am looking forward to watching it as often as we want.

I like Daniel Farrands so I know what he’s trying to do. If not a real occurrence The Manson Murders this would have been fine but it twists the truth but all in all good horror movie

I remember learning about this while getting my degree (US History). This is grizzly, and the fact that this happened in reality made it hard for me to watch, so I didn't get all the way through it. I remember the pictures and grainy film footage of the aftermath of the real event... queasy. For me, the fact that this attack really happened and the absolute depravity of the real attack, made this a hard watch. Not to say it isn't good, it's just a really messed up thing. I guess I should sum it up this way: the film is fine, but if you've studied the real event in any detail, it might put you off.

Movie is to be based on the Sharon Tate murders & how ultimately Sharon herself saw it coming but nobody wanted to believe her.

This an interesting movie, I would watch it on cable not sure I would buy if I could do it again.

This is another retelling of the Manson murders that is pretty average but fans of the Manson story will probably find it very interesting.

Hilary finally hits the horror genre in this home invasion slasher!

Hilary duff is fantastic in the film and this is worthy in any horror collection!
