Some folks are not going to like this movie. I think you have to consider the time when it came out. It was 1980 and the teen slasher movies were everywhere. This movie is not like that. I think it was sold as a horror flick but really it is more suspense-horror than straight up horror in my opinion. I like Trish Van Devere and her performance is perfect here. This movie is similar to some of the old Hammer movies that didn't have a lot of blood, just more suspenseful with some scares. If you're looking for a movie like Halloween, this isn't the movie for you. If you're looking for something that's more suspenseful (and some things may be a little obvious in plot), then you might like this. I am happy to add this to my collection.

This is an outstanding scary movie without the blood and guts! I first saw this movies in the theater back in 1980... I loved it!...When I saw that it was out in Blu-ray, This was excitement beyond belief! I am totally happy to own this movie! Anyone that haven't seen it? I sincerely recommend that you do!!!
