Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Heroes of Telemark is about a little known theater of war during World War II, Norway. That was one attraction this movie had for me. The other one was Kirk Douglas. A good movie that describes the possibility of Germany attaining the atom bomb.

This title was a little different because the Norwegian resistance tries to stop German efforts to produce hard water, an atomic bomb component. The fact that it is based on a true story makes it more appealing.

Based on true story, real heroes
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Richard Harris's character is based on a Norwegian man who just recently died at age 99. When he was 23 he took part in a mission to destroy the plant in Norway that was making heavy water for the Germans. This movie shows their story with a few changes here and there, but overall is an entertaining movie that makes you thankful for heroes of the past. Best Buy had it when that other online giant didn't and they shipped it super fast, thank you. My mom is 82 and wanted to see it, so we got to enjoy it.
