SIXX AM is NOT Motley Crue. And that's a good thing. There can only be one Motley Crue and this is no "Nikki Sixx goes solo" vanity project. I saw SIXX AM live in NYC and I can not say enough things about how awesome this band is!

This CD is filled with so much emotion and passion that I can't help but love these songs. (The again, I'd love them even without the passion behind them!) There is a lot of meat here, both lyrically and musically. I highly recommend this one!

I loved this cd, but I've read the book twice. I think the music would be good to someone who hasn't read the book, but I think it's great when you have the book as a reference to what's going on in the music. It makes the songs all the more powerful when you understand how torn up his life was and how much he is baring his soul in these tracks.

I would recommend this book to anyone. It made the perfect gift for a friend whom loved motley Crüe and now loves sixx am

I bought this CD because I liked the song Life is Beautiful. The rest of the CD was not as good as that song. I especially didn't like the parts of the CD where Nikki Sixx speaks. Those parts were very weird.

This is a great rock album. I would recommend it to anyone that likes rock music. I give it 2 thumbs up

a dark album in most areas but that's in keeping with Nikki's story

This CD, is a first. It's a soundtrack to a book. Granted the book will probably be made into a movie down the road. Nikki Sixx, opens up about his addiction to drugs. But he was in love with heroin. And during his struggle with life, being one part, of a rock band, that was at it's peak of success, He kept a journal. Telling the truth about all of his problems. The music is so inspirational and moving. Beautifully done by Sixx, and his partners in Crime, hence, Sixx A.M. The music takes you on a journey that, if you've never been an addict, you get a glimpse of what it's like. And, if you have been down the road of addiction, you totally get it. It reminds you, that you are not alone, others have been through this. And have come out the other side. Which is perfect, along with the song, and first single released, "Life is Beautiful" I can only say, Thanks Nikki, for being honest, and open. And maybe you putting this out there, will keep one kid, from going through what you've been through.

After hearing the single "Life is Beautiful", I immediately bought the cd. I usually have to listen to a cd several times to start liking songs, but this one is different. I loved every song after hearing them for the first time. The lead singers voice is incredible & goes perfectly with the music. The music is great, heavy, solid Rock n Roll. It is refreshing to hear such good, new music. Being a Motley Crue fan I wasn't sure what to expect. But anyone will enjoy this one. I applaud Nikki Sixx for this project and hope we see more in the future. This one is AWESOME!

Love this whole album, every single track on here is great. You can listen to the whole CD without skipping anything, something you can't say about many CD's these days. The lyrics tell a great story through Nikki's struggles with drugs.

I bought this for Life is beautiful...one song...but it turned out to be the best CD i bought just for one song...this is an awesome cd..all are great!!!

I bought this cd for the song life is beautiful.I dont usually by cds for 1 song,but am really glad i did with this one.The entire cd is great but life is beautiful is still my favorite song
