A great copy of a favorite classic! The picture quality was good and the menu had no glitches like other DVD copies of older shows and movies.

I have been searching local stores for this animated copy of the Hobbit DVD for a while. I finally found a copy from a reputable buyer for a good cost.It came extremely fast and the shipping was free for elite members!

My grandmother and I used to watch this on VHS quite often, but those tapes did not last the test of time. This is a good substitute, although the audio is not the greatest. I'm very satisfied still.

By far some of the best folk/fantasy musical score in any movie and to me rivals the Lord of the Rings soundtracks. Fitting animation style, a great story, everyone of any age will enjoy this timeless classic. Actually, this animated movie captures more of the feel from Tolkien more so than the live action movies.

This is the animated version of the Hobbit done in the 198s. It s cute and will be a good way to interduce J R Tolkins classic book to young readers.

Great animated film. The only thing that prevents me from giving this product a 5-star rating is that the disc is missing a layer of audio in certain scenes, and as a result entire sound effects have been completely removed from the picture. This is no doubt a digital mastering error which should be corrected and re-issued.

This is an excellent telling of the story. I actually like it better then the trilogy that was created because this follows the book closer.

This was a great movie that everyone in the family will enjoy!!
