I liked the way Jackson tied in some LOTR background (e.g. having Legolas go looking for someone called Strider) but the battle scenes were just way too long and fake. The Hobbit was not a book about war but the movie almost seemed to be focused on it. The fights with the Orcs were just too repetitive. I thought Jackson did a good job, with a few exceptions, with LOTR. However in trying to stretch The Hobbit to 3 movies he had to add in too much of his/his wife's additions and they just aren't as good a storyteller as Tolkien.

This was a fitting end to the Hobbit trilogy. Lots of action, and great locations. I must have!

What hasn't been said about The Hobbit movies. Great action, Romance, Great War Scenes.

First I'd like to say the packaging was spot on. Inventory wasn't where it should have been, especially since it was the first day available. Otherwise good movie for all to enjoy.

this movie rocks I would've gave it five stars but I really wasn't sure who won the battle of the five army's. It's a great film with good special-effects and 3-D is off the chain.

Missed this in the theater, though not the same experience as the theater the BR was great!

With this purchase, I now own the entire collection. I highly recommend these great movies.

This concludes a great series. It has lots of action and brings everything to a conclusion.

The battle of the 5 armies is among the top films ever made. Can't wait to see what comes next.

A great way to end the trilogy. Fun and entertaining movie, as well as a home theater showcase.
